Doesn't "Kerfuffle" refer to when it was revealed that Disney fired Steve Whitmire and was replacing him with Matt Vogel as the performer of Kermit the Frog, then proceeded to launch a smear campaign against him?

No. It was the last big blowout fight this community had. It was a pretty bad time, but thankfully the community is functional so it’s something we’ll never have to worry about again.

The worst parts were in a different thread, but I’m pretty sure it got removed by the mods. I still have all the PMs, so I can go through them if I’m ever feeling self-loathing.

Although you've gotten the 'dark' side of the backstory, without it much of what exists today wouldn't have been possible so while in the moment it was a mess, it lead to the community we have today and I'm grateful for that!
