I don't get political because I'm afraid of getting shot down or censored but this time I have to share this information for those who have not seen it. One is in regards to body cam footage of George Floyd's arrest and subsequent death; which was purposely withheld from the public by Minnesota state's Attorney General and was recently leaked, the other was a recent, openly made racist remark made by Joe Biden. When you finish watching these videos, pass it on so that if this post gets falsely taken down, others may realize what is actually going on.

Personally I don't believe that body cam footage changes anything (Its the 9 minutes after that which matters). Anything it shows was public knowledge or at least information.. Nothing makes it right what the cop did. It was extremely excessive force against a scared, unarmed, hand cuffed man who was not being arrested for violent crime. Cops aren't supposed to kill people. Period. That is not their job. There are very few acceptable times for force like that and I can't think of any against an unarmed handcuffed man having a panic attack. If anything, that body cam footage is a stronger argument in favor of scaling back police forces and replacing them with more social services. He was having an intense panic attack and someone with mental health training could've calmed him down and then he'd be alive and they could help him get the help he needs to get away from his addictions.

As far as the Biden clip, I am FAR from a huge Biden fan (I'm a republican Christian is that influences your view on what I'm saying). But he has already apologized and clarified that statement. Unlike certain other political candidates with any number of similar remarks made publicly or endorsed publicly or shared on social media. But it is a dumb statement and a clear gaffe.

Fire Emblem, I love it so much. And since Awakening I have played nearly every main line title. Obviously with Three Houses my fave title Ive played in the series.

After that I’d say Animal Crossing. One of the few franchises that with every new game has continued to set the bar higher and higher for new installments.

After that if I open it to franchises I have yet to try I would say Metroid would be high up there. Now if they hurried and announced the Prime Trilogy for Switch that would be just swell 👀

Excluding Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon, what are the best Nintendo franchises?
Punch-Out!!

There may not be many titles to this franchise, but its arcade-y approach to boxing gives it a kind of puzzle game feel, as you figure out the weak spots in your opponent's tactics. Plus, there are plenty of memorable (if stereotypical) characters in its roster of boxers.

Preliminary Muppets Now episode two thoughts

-NOTICEABLE lack of Vogel Kermit. I hope the long term solution isn't just to shun him, but I will admit not having him be front and center in almost every sketch definitely helped.

-Pepe's gameshow was a real winner. Him and Scooter bounce really well off of each other. Is it just me, or was this whole thing basically an exaggerated version of the mess that was Channel Awesome's "Pop Quiz Hotshot".

-Okie Dokie Kookin: YES! What an improvement! This goes to show that the celebrity guest absolutely MAKES this segment.

-Muppet Labs: I'll admit I've never been huge into Beaker and Honeydew. The whole "Beaker constantly being abused" thing is a bit repetitive and that doesn't really stop with this sketch. All that being said the Alexa version of Beaker was fun and seeing the real Beaker get more and more flustered by it was definitely entertaining. Not my favorite format for a sketch but had its moments.

-Lifesty(le): LOVE that the title gag is still a sticking point beyond the first episode haha. If Tay Diggs is going to be in every one of these sketches, sign me up! That being said I will admit that with this sketch I was slightly feeling what others felt about the same sketch in episode one...it was a bit "been there, done that". I'll say this much, I'm genuinely hoping that they take a break from this particular sketch next episode. The Deadly/Piggy dynamic is absolutely DYNAMITE and is one of the best things about the show, but I fear it could quickly turn into too much of a good thing. (again @mickeyfan5534 watch The Muppets 2015 if you want to see the genesis of that)

-MAJOR props to fun cameos like Beuregard and Bobo. Please keep this up. I'm dying to see Big Mean Carl haha. I also really like how Gonzo is being used as a sort of "man of many hats" who pops up in a lot of different contexts. Definitely fitting of his character.

-I'll admit, Fozzie was fairly annoying in the Scooter interludes. I think one of the problems is as a Youtuber I relate to Scooter's stress a little too much which makes the interruptions more genuinely irritating haha. That being said I do hope they continue experimenting with the interludes as it's definitely nice to have something to break up the sketches.

I gotta say Mario just because of how consistently fun and entertaining the games are. If it has "Mario" in the title it is a guarantee that you're gonna have a good time even with the worst games. Something I can't say about any other Nintendo franchise with more than like 2 games in it.

But Star Fox is probably my personal favorite. Even if that is like entirely based on only 2 games in the entire series haha

Donkey Kong Country is easily one of the most consistently amazing franchises ever, lowkey. Five entries and each and every one of them can be called a gold standard in the 2D platformer genre. The only reason people don't like DKC3 is for the Kiddie Kong character design. The actual gameplay (while I'll admit it is the most frustrating in the series) is still as rock solid as ever.

Agreed wholeheartedly with all your points.

Pepe hosting his own segment was very refreshing as for the most parr I feel like Disney has been underutilizing him the whole past decade. Surprised at the lack of Rizzo given that’s his typical pairing, but the new combo of Scooter and Pepe was very refreshing.

The Sweedish Chef segment has improved tremendously and for me is more aligned with what I expect from the Sweedish Chef. I think all the jokes landed for me during that segment, and can’t wait see more.

For me Muppet Labs fell a little flat with it intially being very engaging and comedic, however the gag got old for me rather quickly 😅
With that said I found the end funny yet predictable, and hope that Muppet Labs continues to improve.

This week’s Lifesty was definitely weaker than last weeks. But still had its momments, and like you said the dynamic between Piggy and Deadly is amazing and might be the show’s highlight as of right now.

I also love how they’re revolving the Muppets and not keeping the same ones every week. Yolanda, Camilla, Bobo, Beauregard, the penguins, etc. While only a few moments these characters leave a lasting impression and for the most part were highlights.

My only question is if we will be getting any musical numbers? I thought we were going to get one with Camilla and the Chickens but no luck .

You are absolutely right with Derek Chauvin, his actions and responses wee unprofessional and irresponsible. That being said however, there is other crucial details that I had accidentally left out. For one, Floyd was high on substances as he admitted to hooping when asked if he had taken any substances; namely methamphetamine and fentanyl, with 11 grams of the latter, which is considered to be a lethal overdose, some of the signs may be learned about here https://drugabuse.com/fentanyl/overdose/ . He was taking drugs despite having an underlying heart condition. He was also with the company of two other passengers; both of whom were black, cooperated and even pleaded with Floyd to cooperate. So what ultimately killed him was a culmination of heart disease, drug overdose, and a stressful situation. And despite this, this does not excuse the MSM from weaving a false narrative that this man was targeted for the color of skin. This does not pardon the MSM from breeding an anti-cop mentality. This does not forgive the MSM from telling people to trust the words of two domestic terrorist socialist regimes, that have put a strain on race relations and allowed for harassment, censorship, and bigotry to flourish, all the while dozens of innocent people, and especially minorities, have had their lives and livelihoods ruined for the name of racial justice.
As for Biden, given his track record of lying, anti-black sentiment and cognitive declination, it's hard to believe that he genuinely has remorse for the narrative he told in the first place and that more likely he is sorry that he got backlash for it. He is also more likely to repeat his mistakes as well and the media will not condemn him for this.

I respect your views on recent events and I respect a skepticism of main stream new sources.

Based on my own research of these events from multiple sources of multiple scales, I mostly disagree with what tou are saying. But I do understand and respect where you are coming from.

As far as the Biden stuff goes, I can't say I disagree. Just that all those same complaints can be levied against Trump often much stronger and with much more evidence. Especially with the cognitive decline. But again, a lot of this comes down to what specific things you fight more egregious than others. Neither of these men are perfect. And neither would even crack the top 5 of candidates I'd want to see from either party.
