Off by a year. 2011 was the year. As a Disney fan, I know this because the execs were stupid enough to release Winnie the Pooh the same weekend Deathly Hallows Part 2 came out, thus effectively killing any chance 2D animation had at carrying its own feature again.

Roy O. Disney, I don’t remember it being that gross. Last time I read it (which was the only time) I thought it said that they simply cleaned their messes with magic instead of leaving it.
