And with that, we've reached the elusive Final Ten. These players will now come together to form one final team, Team Prospero. From now until the semi-finals, you will be working on this team among yourselves trying to create the best projects you can while still keeping the idea of competition in mind. With that said, I want to stress that Project Leaders are now eligible for elimination. At the end of each prompt, the project leader will name two nominees for elimination. If Team TMNT feels the project leader deserves to go home over their nominees, then that's an option that will be on the table. This will mostly be in place to prevent anyone from outwardly nominating targets. That being said, if you're a frontrunner and take on the role of project leader...don't be afraid to think a little strategically with your nominations. The project leader position is now both the most powerful and dangerous position in the game. Everyone is now reset to take up the mantle once, and much like the pre-merge no one is allowed to repeat the position until everyone left on the team has had a chance to take the charge. If a project leader doesn't step up to volunteer in the first 48 hours of any given project, one will be selected via Random.org, so don't be afraid to step up or it might be you on the line in a prompt you might not want to lead.

Project Eight: New Islands, New Adventures
There's ten of you on the merged team. That means it's time to throw a real challenge your way, one that will require you to think on multiple levels of the park you're working with. The park in question is Islands of Adventure. Let's just go ahead and time travel to a few years past the opening date of Epic Universe. With Epic Universe as the big new draw and the original Studios park as the "classic" of Universal Orlando, Islands of Adventure has been left as the awkward middle child, or even worse, "the place you pop into to ride Hagrid's from time to time...". Needless to say, something drastic needs to be done. Something on an even bigger scale than California Adventure 2.0. For this project, teams will take a TWO billion dollar budget and rework three lands in Islands of Adventure.
Because of increasingly stressed copyright negotiations, Marvel Super Hero Island and Toon Lagoon will for sure be two of the lands that require a top to bottom retheme. The other land you work with is between Seuss Landing and The Lost Continent. Both have their pros and cons. Seuss Landing is easily the most whimsical and kid friendly land in the park, but also by far the least popular and thematically consistent land in the park. Not to mention the ever growing problem of the bright paint colors rapidly fading year by year in the Florida heat. The Lost Continent on the other hand features some of the most acclaimed architecture and exteriors in the entire theme park industry and the park's flagship table dining location, but the lack of IP and awkward attraction set up make it prime for a redo. Good luck teams, this project is due Monday, July 20th at 11:59PM Eastern.
NuOrbis! You guys really came through with a victory at the last possible moment, and you should all be proud. Really great, simple and effective placemaking throughout this project, which is what the prompt was all about. @montydysquith-navarro has been awarded the first post-merge PoMVP of the season.
The loosing team is...
NuCitra. By no means a dud of a project, and easily the closest score yet coming within five points of the winning project. First off, I just want to emphasize you did NOT loose because of the presentation style. That was easily one of the strong points of the project. You lost because the project got muddied in your own backstory, and you went a little too ambitious with it.
Now comes the hard part. The first nominee for elimination on NuCitra is...
@JokersWild. You're an icon of the game and have been on one of your strongest runs thus far, but real life got in the way and you ended up not turning in your part of the project as a result.
The second nominee for elimination on NuCitra is...
@NigelChanning09. This is not a matter of you doing anything wrong, but simply speaks to the insane level of competition left in the cast. You've been a very consistent player since having a breakout role in the pre-game, and the only thing you've done wrong is not shine as brightly as some of your other teammates.
And after an almost impossible choice on Team TMNT's behalf, the final pre-merge player is...
@NigelChanning09. I really can't apologize enough for this. There's very little that could have been done to avoid this with Jokers as the person you were nominated against. You've been consistently improving every round, though there were some points in the season you didn't have the spark that we saw in you pre-game. This project in particular though you really came out of your shell, which makes this decision all the more difficult. Thanks so much for playing and making a mark on the season. As with all pre-merge players, please feel free to reach out if you see a prompt you'd like to be a guest judge on.
