I'll keep that in mind! Thank you! :)

I concur with this. Also, I can not think of a single Universal IP that is a hardcore "fantasy." The only one I could think of is Wizard of Oz and upon research I learned that it is owned by MGM.
Well they do have some actually. They can use Dreamworks' Shrek, How To Train Your Dragon and Trolls, though I don't doubt anyone would want that.

The thing is that these fantasy genres are geared towards children, while I believe that we are looking for something more for teens/adults.

However, one thing I will add is that we have Zelda in the other park to present this child-version of fantasy.

Dance of Dragons Concept Art

Essentially a spinoff, more intense version of Flight of Passage.

A IMAX 4D simulator attraction where you fly on the back of a dragon through the battle for the North Wall and then soar around the various kingdoms to cement your spot on the iron throne.

First part of the attraction will be intense, showing off the various battle scenes as your dragon breathes fire onto the white walkers in the North.

Then the attraction calms down near the halfway point, and the second half is a magnificent glide around Westeros, touring all the kingdoms similar to the opening title crawl.
Music around 1:40

There's this one (if not two) problems with the choice of creatures for the ride. Having Frank (the thunderbird) does make sense for this attraction since he's what brought Newt to America in the first place. But what would a pukwudgie, a horned serpent, and a wampus cat be doing in New York City? All three are secretive creatures; with pukwudgies being presumably beings as they are related to the European Goblin; and to use the other two is far fetched because they are both very dangerous creatures (the wampus has the ability to see into their victims' minds and hypnotize them) to North America. So instead of the three, why not use a clabbert and hippogriff for scene 2 and maybe a grindylow or kappa for the lake.
Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I originally choose those 3 creatures since I wanted the four creatures that inspired the 4 houses of Ilvermorny to be represented. Maybe, I could keep the puckwudgie (since it is said that they like playing tricks on humans), and change the Wampus Cat for a Mooncalf (since they are planning on using a Hippogriff in UniSEA). And, while I would like to keep the Horned Serpent since it would mesmerizing to look at and liked the impact it had on the story of Isolt Sayre, I do agree it might be a little far fetched; since it is a big scene maybe it can be replaced by merpeople, a grindylow, and a clabbert?

Hmm... Lost Continent was never spectacular, though it could have been improved; in my opinion, Universal has IPs that they could much more easily obtained that would be enjoyed more by fans.
Uni struggles to do original things because their parks are geared towards films. Same as DHS -- everything is based off of something else or another film. And when the landscape is so varied it's tough to just plop down something that isn't part of that mold.

It's why IPs in Epcot became so frowned upon because that park has the exact opposite layout of Uni parks -- mostly original concepts, few IPs and the more IPs you add the less it remains the original park of Epcot.

Go for the grindylow. Clabberts inhabit trees; as apposed to water and merpeople are questionable since they are technically sentient despite declining "being" status in favor for "beasts" though you could probably do a small mercolony.

For UniSEA at least, any of those would be better as an alternate for Pokémon Land, in part because of the kids vs. teens distinction @spacemt354 brings up.

Although I thought some Australian parks were currently using Dreamworks, which takes these good options off the table.

Only Shrek, Madagascar and King Fu Panda. So we're free to the use the other two and Rise of the Guardians; which I now remembered.

Thanks, that was what I was thinking, having a small mercolony, and a grindylow or two in the lake. And add some Clabberts to the trees on your left, since the lake would be to your right. :)

I should edit and say not 'drawn to scale' but more drawn just to see how it would look as you round the corner into American Mystery looking across the lagoon at the other lands:p

No there isn't some giant castle that's 4-5x the size of the entrance:hilarious: It's use forced perspective, probably as a good test for the Hogwarts castle in UniSEA :geek:

Ride Experience
landscape-1490356652-fantastic-beasts-montage.jpg

The ride will take through 8 different scenes where you'll be faced by a variety of fantastical beasts. In the Scene 1, you'll be riding through the streets of New York, where you'll meet a Niffler, a Pukwudgie, and a Mooncalf. The Scene 2, will take you to a beautiful lake, where a community of Merpeople is waiting for you, along with a few grindylows; if you look closely to the trees surrounding the lake, you'll be able to spot a few Clabberts. During the Scene 3, you'll be transported to a Zoo, there an Erumpent is breaking havoc, try to not direct the light to his eyes, or else he might try to follow you, and if you're determined enough you'll be able to spot a group of Bowtruckles. The Scene 4 will take you back to the streets of New York, and it is infested with Sweeping Evils and Billywigs, make sure they don't touch you! In order to take shelter from the Sweeping Evils and Billywigs, you'll enter a Departament Store (Scene 5 & 6), where you meet a cute but hard to spot Demiguise, who will lead you to a magnificent Occamy. Then at the Scene 7, you'll return to the streets of New York, there you'll be lucky to admire some beautiful Fwoppers, a Diricawl and the uncomparable Thunderbird. The Scene 8, will be the most thrilling of them all, as you'll be facing an Obscurus, the most dangerous creature of them all, don't let it reach you. Once the ride ends, you'll unload at a Subway Station, and some stairs will guide you outside of the building.

Note: This is my first time developing a ride concept, so I hope you like it :)
I want to thank @D Hindley for the idea of using wands instead of lamps :)
I already updated it with @S.P.E.W ‘s feedback, what do you think? :)
