Holy Crap!!! I Grew up in Sterling and went to Radford (yet graduated from GMU :lookaroun ) But i live in Orlando Now.....

It's a small world after all...it's a small world after all...

You know what would be really creepy? If you worked in the same department I do in WDW!

Radford's really cracked down this year on parties. Lots of cops. Dark Side is patrolled more, with cops using those spotlights, Light Side is covered by cops...there are new policies on campus, too. No more trophy bottles in the windows, all dorms are smoke free...

And we don't have Rowdy Red anymore, if you were here when Rowdy Red was around. If you were here when we had the blonde Highlander, he's gone now, too. We got a new mascot costume this year (I'm on the mascot team- the only person on the team too short to actually wear the costume!)

Oh, and we have a new student center. Heth is like, gone in terms of activities offices. The pool tables and bowling alley is gone from Heth, and they're both now in The Bonnie (the new building). New pool tables, the new alleys have cosmic bowling capabilities...it's CHANGED! Come visit me for Highland Festival!

Anything else about Radford you want to know about how it may have changed?

Pleased to meet you Connor. You must mean Frankford Torresdale Hospital.
We live very near there. We're right around the corner from Holy Family University. Just how close to that is insanity? Most days I feel it's very close.

Fly, Eagles, fly . . .:lookaroun

Yes, my mom has worked there since... ahhh... actually I don't know, but since before I was born.

Fly, Eagles, Fly
On the road to victory... :lookaroun

I used to travel to Pottsville with my mother when I was a kid. She worked for Combustion Engineering in CT and would have to go visit the coal power plants and stuff for her work...never thought I'd ever hear of Pottsville again!

Me?

I live in Florida, in Melbourne, (HEY PONGO!!!!!!!) which is right on the Atlantic Coast about 25 minutes south of Kennedy Space Center, 20 minutes south of Port Canaveral and 'my' Disney Cruise ships and about an hour drive from WDW Resort.

Virginia - Tazewell County - Tazewell (middle of nowhere, closest grocery store is 30 min from here  )

Hey, how cool is that!? I spent a summer (1988) near you in Bland County (off I-77 in the Virginia mountains, for those of you not from Virginia), as a summer missionary at the Bland County Ministry Center. That was one of the best times of my life. We coordinated church groups coming out to do construction on homes for underprivileged people of Appalachia (similar to Habitat for Humanity).

But I also enjoyed many of the others that I met while I lived there. The mountains were beautiful. I still come back to visit some friends occasionally. Do you know Tim Williams from Rocky Gap?

Anyway, I grew up in Chesterfield County, where I also currently reside and work, in the suburbs outside of Richmond, VA. (My mail says "Richmond," but I live in the county -- like others have said, in Virginia, we have independent cities and you either live in the city or the county, but never in both!! I live in Chesterfield County, near Hull Street Rd. and Chippenham Parkway.) I work for the county, also (tax auditor), but I won't say whether I am "at work" right now... :lookaroun

I graduated high school in South Jersey, though, across the river from Philly, and I have family in Texas, just south of San Antonio. Grew up lots of places because of a military father. I still love "to go".

RED MEANS GO!! I live in Cardinals country!
I also BLEED BLUE. I live in Blues country!

That is so funny. I grew up on a farm about 8 miles from Rocky Gap. There is a little section of Tazewell called Gratton. My family had a farm there near the prison camp. Sounds really safe, doesn't it? :lookaroun But the mountains are absolutely beautiful....Especially this time of year.

I know alot of Williams from there. I think the name rings a bell.....
