Where were you yesterday?

In a crowd of mass hysteria.
And happiness.

I had also heard about 3 announcements to be made from a gentlemen that worked for test track or gm and his wife. i couldnt remember which. she kept telling me that all the footers for the monorail expansion had been in place for a long time. i just laughed.
I also think its funny about the new dvc contemporary being played off like area 51. our fireworks boad captain was shocked we knew about it and wanted to know where we heard about it. she said someone in the higher ups had got in hot water for discussing it. I also found out they call the contemporary the toaster, lol
But to say I don't love Disney is laughable. You have no idea who I am, and what I have done for the Disney company, suffice it to say, I devoted a large portion of my working career to ensuring that every guest that came into a Disney Theme Park had the time of their lives. Nothing means more to me than the magical experience, and people having a good time at Walt Disney World.
I appreciate the irony, Ghost, of you saying I should be banned.
EVERYONE knows about the Contemporary DVC. Disney razed over half of the Contemporary's available rooms and they're acting like nobody has noticed.
Why do I post the way I do? Because I hate when people are wrong. Its that simple. Original poster came in and made a false claim about "PR 101" being not making announcement during events, which is plain wrong (I have my masters degree in Public Relations, those quotes come straight from my old college textbooks which are still in my library).
You know, in a lot of disciplines, there are theories regarding what constitutes X, or the best way to accomplish Y. Theories often contradict one another, and present clashing (albeit equally successful) viewpoints. Perhaps you're both right. But, suffice to say, just because something is in a textbook doesn't make it true.
Further, appealing to your level of education or age in a certain topic directly, or by reference, doesn't make you an expert in a discipline. I graduated last year with degrees in sociology and political science, and there are plenty of specifics, and even general concepts, pertaining to both that I probably do not remember at all. But that's the nature of education; typically the details aren't important, but rather the way of thinking they teach. In any case, a degree is not some sacred sign of intelligence. I know plenty of people with Ph.D.'s who you'd swear were absolute morons.
This is not aimed at either poster in particular, but the general type of debate. This is one of the dangers of speaking in absolutes. Save that for the hard sciences (even then, eh...). You're going to be arguing in vain if you believe the theory you're advancing has an inherent superiority (or factual grounding) over someone else's.

This is just turned into one big annoying thread about ideaology(sp)
who cares?:fork:
I for one would much rather hear something about fun and excitement not about my daddy can beat up your daddy because my belief is better than yours.
What are we doing movie quotes now Mr Nicholson? Please go to another thread if "You can't handle the truth".
