So...what films do YOU own?

I have all of the Disney animated features on DVD except Jungle Book, Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Mulan, and Tarzan.

I have recently been dubbing VHS to DVD so I have made my own Bambi and Cinderella (plus a Sleeping Beauty copied from the purchased DVD so I can program the dern thing in my 5-disc changer). They are turning out great! Jungle Book, Little Mermaid, and Aladdin will be next.

I also have:
All the Pixar titles
All the Walt Disney Treasures
About a 1/3 of all the live action Disney DVD's released so far
Duplicates of most of the animated features on VHS
Mini-Classics VHS series
And lots of other non-Disney titles

Looking for So Dear To My Heart on DVD? Drop me a line... :)

I keep EVERYTHING. Ever since my parents threw out all our old park guides and tickets, I won't let anything go, including all my VHS tapes. I keep the silliest things, like the reciepts from when we rent water mice and the little paper they write your name and number in your group on at Chef Mickey's and I have a whole bunch of napkins from Chef Mickey's. So maybe I'm a packrat. ;)

I can see keeping some stuff like receipts and napkins, etc. That kind of stuff goes great into a scrapbook/photo album. I have a separate scrapbook for each Disney trip. They include room keys, passes, fastpasses, napkins, coasters and stuff like that.

I have nearly all of them on DVD we generally get them the first week of release. I would go through them to see but with over 1200 DVD's that would take a long time to do.

This is what I can think of right now.

VHS:
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Pinocchio (I NEED to get the DVD, Pinocchio's getting tired!)
Fantasia (Somewhere . . .)
Bambi
Dumbo (recorded from TV)
3 Caballeros (Again, somewhere . . .)
Cinderella
Alice in Wonderland
Peter Pan
Lady and the Tramp
Sleeping Beauty
101 Dalmations
Sword in the Stone (Recorded from TV, I think)
Mary Poppins
Jungle Book
Aristocats
Robin Hood (TV)
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
The Recuers (TV)
Fox and the Hound
The Great Mouse Detective (Somewhere . . .)
Oliver and Company (Somewhere . . .)
The Little Mermaid
The Recuers Down Under (TV)
Beauty and the Beast
Aladdin
The Nightmare Before Christmas (so it's not traditional animation, it's a milestone in not only animation but in movie history, yet it gets the shaft because again, it is different. FIGHT THE POWER!!!)
The Lion King
Pocahontas
James and the Giant Peach (Hey, wait a sec, how come Disney considers this this and animated feature and not the Nightmare Before Christmas!?!?! Oh wait, I forgot. The Nightmare Before Christmas is the Redheaded stepchild of Disney Animation (Ironic when you consider that James in James and the Giant peach is almost exactly that in reality; a redheaded Stepchild. Whatever).)
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
The Lion King 2
Mulan
Fantasia 2000
The Tigger Movie

DVD:
Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (Platinum)
Bambi (Platinum)
Alice In Wonderland (Masterpece Edition)
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (Special Edition)

The Great Mouse Detective
Aladdin (Platinum)
The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Lion King (Platinum)
The Lion King 2 (Special Edition)
The Emperors New Groove
Walt Disney: The Man Behind the Myth
Peter Pan 2: Return to Neverland
Lilo and Stitch
Pirates of the Caribbean
Brother Bear
The Haunted Mansion
The Lion King 1 1/2
The Three Musketeers
Home on the Range
Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas

Disney Treasures DVDs:
Mickey Mouse in Black and White Vol. One
Mickey Mouse in Black and White Vol. Two
The Walt Disney Studio
Mickey Mouse in Living Color Volume Two
Disneyland U.S.A.
Tomorrowland
The Mickey Mouse Club

Pixar:
Toy Story (VHS)
A Bugs Life (VHS)
Monsters Inc. (DVD)
Finding Nemo (DVD)

Well, I think that's it!

We own every animated disney movie that has been released on DVD. The only disney animated things we don't have are all of the recesses, baby einstein, the new princess things and the read alongs.

I want duck tales on dvd. They need to release this soon.

We also have all of the tins. We only have a few live action movies though, like flubber, both freaky friday's, the kid, remeber the titans and cool runnings. Can't think of the rest right now.

Ok, bumping not to list what movies I have, but rather to ask a question. :) (I hate starting new threads  )

Anyway, I just picked up my Bambi dvd :) and saw that it had a "Limited Time" sticker on it. I wonder, what other movies are only available for a limited time? Tonight we tried watching our Nemo dvd, and they are all scratched to heck, and I'm going to have to replace them. No problem right now, however, is there going to be a time when others aren't available as well? Should I be stock piling? What do you guys think?

<CENTER>Concerning the animated classics, yes, they all go out of print (OOP) on a rotating basis. The titles currently OOP are:</CENTER><CENTER></CENTER><CENTER></CENTER><CENTER>Pinocchio</CENTER><CENTER>Fantasia</CENTER><CENTER>Peter Pan</CENTER><CENTER><TABLE border=1><TBODY><TR><TD align=right></TD><TD>Lady and the Tramp</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></CENTER><CENTER>Sleeping Beauty</CENTER><CENTER>101 Dalmatians</CENTER><CENTER>The Jungle Book</CENTER><CENTER>The Little Mermaid</CENTER><CENTER></CENTER><CENTER>So, once the current printing of Bambi is sold (and it will sell out) there will be no more until another issue is produced. All the other "classics" currently in release will go OOP as well. Here is the most recent OOP list:</CENTER><CENTER> </CENTER><CENTER>http://www.ultimatedisney.com/OOP.htm</CENTER>

Not quite. All classic Platinums and Special Editions that are in demand will go OOP. No need to return Home on the Range or Atlantis to the vault if no one would care anyway, right? ;)
