I do not believe this is a good thing. That is what made MGM great for me is to see all the real behind the scenes action. I think they should go back to that. :)

And as far the whole "thread drift issue", I just skipped past it quickly with my good ole' mouse. If you like it read it; if not just skip on past it!

Maybe i miss what your saying. But a driving show is behind the scenes. Do you not get to see the behind the scenes working of the techniques of driving in the movies?

Actually...people have been pretty scared at a few points with me.

I think I'm one of the few people to have legal action threatened against them because of what I've said on here. :)

that's not something that's really within Disney's Control... I mean, Florida ended up being a dud in regards to its aspirations of becoming Hollywood East. More and more people are shooting in Canada, Australia, and North Carolina.. and less and less are choosing FL. They should use the room for something, rather than letting it sit there. Plus, if they need the facilities bad enough, soundstages ain't the most expensive structures to build.

as have I Brad... lest we never forget the unfortunate incident. After our AIM intervention though, the offending party would rather eat ________ from my hand than even think of taking legal action. No one messes with me and my attorney... hehe

hey... I could probably have gotten him to take the case pro-bono if it came to that... he's not certified by the Minnesota Bar... only FL, DC, PR, NY, CA and ABA.... ABA should suffice though

anyhoo.. back on track!!

Pontiac Grand Prix/Cadillac CTS chase scene.. sweet. Top it off with some Chevy Impala Police Cruisers for color

You don't think that they may just build a different car from scratch?

The one in Paris' 'star car' doesn't look exactly like any vauxhall they currently have. They built that model especially for the show.
I believe they probably had to do this just to get the things they needed in there.

Those cars must have some monster suspension set ups, and i don't know if they just used another car wih a reversed gearbox, but the clips I've seen show the red car going as fast in reverse as forward.

If they were in the same car, it would need space in it for a double gearbox probably.

It would make sense for them to use a model that any speciallist parts they may have already developed could be used in.

The corsa's meanwhile do look pretty standard.

I really do hope this show comes to MGM, as it looks fantastic! I wish that they would concenrate on some backstage tour style attractions, showing how things are done etc, as that is what is beginning to disappear.

Maybe they would build a special vehicle for the show (or just use something from there European brand / Opel) .

I seriously doubt that they would build special cars for this, with the way they have been slashing budgets for attractions,I don't see them doing this, other than modifing an existing chassie or vehicle, aside from the required safety equiptment

Jer...

I see 3 options.. not midengine.. but they would work

Chevy Monte Carlo... guess which trim
Cadillac CTS.. self explanatory
Saab 9-3 Sedan

now, as I look at the Chevy Website... the Chevy Aveo looks like an Opel Corsa.. which is one of the cars featured in the show...

even the SSR, Equinox, or the Colorado look tempting

You'll never get an apology out of me for that one. BUT I will sign off today with a tribute to her ridiculous sig...

Disclaimer:

Please note that the above text, is NOT a sig, nor would it play a sig on TV. 4 out of 5 dentists prefer my advanced sig substitute over a real sig. The 5th is probably a loser.

I would like to see all of the above cars in a stunt show or a ladder show, because I've never seen a car climb a ladder.

ORANGE you glad I said banana!
