I am preparing to pack for our trip in 12 days. I noticed many others posted in the awesome "neat and pretty" thread that they do have some type of a beauty routine. I am headed out this weekend to get some last minute things so please tell me what beauty products/tips/ideas that you use or do. I am feeling more like a step sister am less like a princess the further along I get, need some prettiness:)
My tip: bare mineral powder foundation used lightly, has SPF, evens out skin with out the foundation/concealer heaviness and keeps shine down...

I may have to look into this bare mineral powder foundation.

I always wear wash-off/waterproof mascara and stick to natural colors with my makeup since the humidity tends to de-glamorize you throughout the day. About a week before my trip I start to use a self-tanning lotion (Jergen's Natural Glow) so I'm not mistaken for a Grim Grinning Ghost. I use a pretty heavy-duty anti-frizz serum and smoothing product on my hair whether I use my hair iron or not.

Well, for getting neat and pretty in WDW, I like to keep it simple. Because the heat and humidity melt make-up in a half hour. LOL I also like Bare Minerals foundation...the powder tends to stay put a little better, but it's light enough to let your skin breathe.

I live in the western US, where it is normally VERY dry, so when I head to Florida, I get sample size moisturizers and face wash that are much lighter than the ones I normally use. I love Dermalogica products. Amazon carries travel sizes that are perfect for taking to WDW.

My favorite tip though is packing one of those vinyl shoe bags that hook over a door. We hang it over the bathroom door in our hotel room and stuff the little shoe pockets with all of our toiletries, curling irons, hair products, etc. Keeps everything organized and off the counter tops. It speeds up our morning routine and gets us to rope drop even more quickly.

If you want to wear beautiful princess make-up, Sephora has the Disney princess collection available now. So far, they've featured Cinderella and Jasmine. The make-up is good quality, the nail polish is beautiful, and my dd (20) loves the smell of the Cinderella cologne. Looks like they still have some of the Jasmine collection available. A new princess and all her pretty things should be coming soon. http://www.sephora.com/one-is-never-enough-nail-set-P378109?skuId=1513092

Apparently a few items from the Cinderella collection are still available as well. http://www.sephora.com/disney-jasmine-collection?buttonMediaId=16900048

I have started working out. So I can be toned so I can wear shorts and ect. I wear moisturizer along with bare minerals powder. I also wear maybe a little blush water proof mascara. Lite lip gloss like a natural color. Brush hair straight. Sometimes in a bun or pony. I normally also layout for like 20 min every other day so im not pale and so I wont burn in the sun.

The day before I leave I ALWAYS get a manipedi!!! The most important part of neet and pretty in the world involves the daily shower and use of deodorant!!!!!! I also blow out my hair every day and a little teasing and hairspray doesn't hurt. I usually have a base tan by the time I get there so it's eyeshadow primer eyeshadow liner blush and lipstick! And something Disney on my body my Figment pack and or my crossbody with a small Figment on the strap and sometimes mouse ears!

Not much needed for me. I cut my hair short before the trips, a bit too short, that way over the two weeks it grows back out.

For the kid, I get her hair done in nice tight microbraids, so I don't have to mess with her curls and tangles on a daily basis. A good set of microbraids costs around 100 bucks, but is SO worth it, as they can be washed during the trip (so she doesn't get a stinky head) and will last.

I always say I am going to get a mani/pedi before we leave out but never end up actually doing it, not surprising as this is never a thing I normally do on a regular basis. But anyway, in the morning I wake up and do my usual routine, clinique etc......I do put on some makeup but usually keep it as simple as possible knowing its going to be a long hot day anyway. And by noon no one seems to care, as we are all in the same its hot, I am sweaty mode anyway.

I get a thermal perm and tint my hair red, then get a pedicure and have a nasal operation.....Whit!!! Of course I don't..Heres what I do...I pose in front of the mirror to achieve the biggest grin possible,Thats all I need at Disney, the biggest smile in the world..:D:D:D

I think that you should mix in smiles and frowns. You really gotta loosen those facial muscles up with some stretching exercises. "Neat and Pretty" is not in my vocabulary or technical jargon. "Good enough" works quite well. My wife doesn't do anything special either as we are both just happy to get to go. Our only "special" is sunscreen. Powerful sunscreen. Coming from winter in OH to Florida spring, we need protection as that sun seems to burn almost instantly.
