Does anyone know if the ride track was removed or if it is going to be built over just incase they ever wanted to install a new ride there using the same track?

I saw the other day from the carousel that, at least from what i could see over the wall, most of the mural in the loading area is still up.

Why has that changed??

Probably because this princess thing is going to be fairly permanent, Im just not buying the temporary story, they are putting too much into this for it to ever be a ride again in the near future at least.. I dont think we will see a ride in that spot for at least a couple of decades, thats just how its feeling to me. Unless this meetngreet just doesnt work out etc, but like thats going to happen. Now that they are doing this can they please be ousted from Norway though already???? It doesnt need to be everywhere.

I believe there was originally a long term plan to make another ride within the SWSA building and move the meet and greets. But that plan is long gone.

Even though we lost an opening day attraction (a dark ride at that), I am increasingly becoming more intrigued by this. This a big deal, and since it's opening in late 2013, it seems to be more of just a regular M & G (maybe even more immersive/detailed than Town Square Theater). Can't wait to see more the first pics of the interior and more concept art.
