Snow White interior

All of the interior sets and ride system were removed within 10 days of the closure... The rest of the building has been completely gutted... The mural wall remains because it is the buildings 'weather wall'.. The first line of defense in the event of a weather event (rain)....

There will be an exterior wall (new façade) constructed prior to that wall being removed, or structurally modified..

I'm sure there is a way for them to take it down..They were able to take the big character mural that was in The Walt Disney Story on Main Street.

Quite a different situation.. but the wall in question is not 'structural'.. meaning it can be removed.. I don't know if there is a plan to preserve the mural or not.. I can tell you than anything being preserved was removed before interior demolition.. Everyone will be happy to know that all off the 'scary trees' were removed and were crated for shipment to the archives.... :).. I know I am... I wish I could have gotten one of those trees for my yard on Halloween ;)

If they archived all the individual pieces from the scenes, it seems like it would be not too hard to reproduce this ride - unlike something like Horizons. Its simplicity seems to be an asset here. And the Martin Smith video documents it so beautifully. That video is almost more fun than the ride itself, because one gets to pore over the details.
I do love what I've seen of the DLP Princess Pavilion - I hope we are getting something like that! Although I am still puzzled as to who will follow in Town Square after the princesses leave.

The ride could definitely be reproduced...if they wanted to, but they don't. Plus, the ride system is antiquated. I predict that any future dark ride that isn't an omnimover will utilize the new trackless system that Pooh uses in other parks. Sort of a play on the guidewire that ToT uses.

The show set pieces for SWSA, for the most part, were pretty cheap. There were a few 3D sets, but it was a LOT of painted plywood. I'd rather them burn all that than re-use it, personally.

I predict Fairytale Hall will look very nice when complete. I'm impressed with the Town Square Theater, and really, I think Mickey and Minnie should stay there (I presume that's the plan anyway). It's Mickey's park, so why not have his MnG up front. It's seemed to work out very nicely.

As for the other half of the Theater, I have no idea what they'll do. Maybe they'll turn it into a Fab Five sort of place - which they could really use in the MK. Just straight up classic Fab Five. Other than Epcot's Character Spot, it's hard to meet them in a non-dining environment.
