Well I made it through the blizzard!! We got 30 inches of snow! I have snow 1/2 way up my french doors. At one point last night it snowed 3-4 inches an hour. The govenor closed the roads in CT due to the inability to clear the roads and cars that were stuck on the roads. Plows were getting stuck or running off the roads. At one point the plows had to stop because they couldn't see (my husband is a town manager, haven't seen him since yesterday morning) ) I just came in from cleaning off and shoveling out one of our cars, it took me 2 and a half hours. One good thing, we didn't lose power!! So what do you think? I can't plan a Disney trip fast enough!!!

Was out there for 2-3 hours last night and about an hour today to get a jump start on the digging out before the plow came. Dont know how long the Gov is keeping the roads closed but its back to work on Monday. So happy that we didnt lose power either but I heard that the shore didnt do so well.

I work with some people that say something similar, I like to tell them your family may have come over on the Mayflower but my mother's family met the boat.

Well we had no power or heat for about 26 hours. It could have been a LOT worse, but we started going a bit stir-crazy yesterday. We started pretending we were dragons because we could see our breath. I live with two other adults
