Mostly all their fans that I know. Not to mention the THOUSANDS in attendance at their concerts with Seether, Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin.
...and these so-called "fans" would continue to buy their records and go to their concerts if Amy left the band? Doubt it.

There's a lot of taltented girls out there who can play the piano and sing but they're not trying to act "Goth" to get record deals. The only reason she was signed was because of the whole ani-pop movement with Avril and others becoming popular. She's so full of her image that she once called herself a "goth princess" in an interview. Give me a break Amy....Is that what your record label told you to be? Me thinks so...
Ok did you eve think thats just what she likes???? Ok Avril just sucks in singing....she got a deal cause of her appeal to youth. You need to do some reasearch before going out and saying the stuff you are.

Most people go for the music. Not the person singing!!!!!!!!!!

Actually it's human nature to attack someone who disagrees with your point of view. I guess there's no way I can change your opinion so I'm just going to let this go. Go on worshiping your "goth princess."

Worship??? HAHAHA you still don't understand... TYPICAL. That's the beauty of opinions though. Don't go around trying to change mine. I wasn't trying to change yours, just trying to enlighten you. DONE!!!!!!!!!!

Strange... Evanescence had very limited runs released three years prior to its first major album. I actually got hooked on their music 6 months before their first CD was released, by downloading their songs from their website, some of the exact same songs that were released on Fallen. They had an underground following LONG before they were even signed.

They aren't manufactured. If Amy Lee WAS the band, then by that logic Steven Tyler IS Aerosmith. Gwen Stefani IS No Doubt. Mick Jagger IS the Rolling Stones.

Is that what you are saying?

I have no doubt that he lip synchs. He's just as bad as the pop stars that he condemns in his "trite-I-no-longer-have-anything-to-complain-about" raps.

I did this morning....... All their songs sounded the same. My sister's music of choice while riding to work. :dazzle:

I agree. Every track was like:

Forboding Gothic music with lyrics about death
Forboding Gothic music with lyrics about loss
Forboding Gothic music with lyrics about pointlessness
Forboding Gothic music with lyrics about pointlessness, loss, and death (that's my personal favorite);)

^ The above was a joke. NO need to take offense, Static^ I'm glad you like them. They're just not my cup of tea.

My sister says "I really like this song!!!!!" I thought it was the same song that had been playing..... but it was only 30 seconds into the song. Nevermind! It was really confusing when she decided to put a song on repeat......... :lookaroun

Was it the song about loss? Or the song about pointlessness? I don't know!!!!! :brick: :veryconfu
