Yep! :sohappy: In order to make it work, we're going to fancy up the current swingset as much as we can, and get a pool. The kids preferred that option. Still, until the work is done, it doesn't look like the pool will be up until July. :shrug:

Oh, it'll be fine...like I said they won't be here until mid-June, and we do have a slip-n-slide we could set up in the meantime. I mean two weeks of inconvenience tops (assuming it goes according to schedule :lookaroun)

Huh, I've played MarioKart on the Wii, didn't know they had one for Nintendo DS....

How is everyone doing? I'm getting ready to shred a bunch of receipts here - spent the morning going through Joel's school papers for the year and pulling out ones that weren't finished to work with him on over the summer.
Also called our landscaper and gave him the go ahead to regrade and reseed our backyard - mid-June is looking likely.

Oh that'll be nice to get the yard done!

I have my ups and downs. One minute I'll be fine and the next it will hit me that I could be here for a while still and I fall apart
And VERRRRRY antsy to get this show on the road. Which in a way I think the torture of all of this time here in bed will be good. I've had such anxiety of the actual c-section procedure since I've never had surgery before. I think after all this I'm just going to be so ready that it will help the worry.

When we were younger we had to slip and slide on the driveway (yes you read that right) since it usually kills the grass. At least it was downhill. :lol:

((HUGS)) You're right though, maybe being so ready and feeling somewhat familiar with the hospital environment will help a little bit.

It's going. I get overwhelmed when I think that I've been here 2 weeks and, as long as nothing else happens, could be another 3-4 weeks before they deliever. But they have been very good to me here and I'm keeping somewhat busy. DH got me Nintendo DS so I've been playing that and w/ my Mom getting here this weekend that should help too. I think we're going to teach ourselves how to knit. :king:
I just am itching to get my independence back. Even just to be able to wash my hands and brush my teeth under running water and not in a pan in bed would be bliss right now.

I love the DS! I got mine Nov 2006, and have loved it ever since. I currently have over 20 games (I got 3 more for Christmas).

The scarcy news is my niece who is 7 yrs old fell off a top bunk and is now heading to the hospital for a brain scan. She was unconscious for a few minutes. So please pray for her and my sister.
