Well if its because your band is taking off, then thats great.
Highly doubtfull..the polygon count this thing has is higher than what would be efficiant for use in a game. I didnt make anything as a "real time" 3d model, since i was going more for artistic outcome rather than useability. Last i checked i was pushing over 400,000,000 polys in that tunnel alone, which...long story short..on the average home PC, would run at around 5 fps.DarkMeasures said:You will be able to convert this to RCT3 once the object creator is released.

The scenery creator is going to have a polycount on it to ensure low-poly models for real time use. Otherwise the game would just..crumble under the resources needed to open a large model.
Maya can export as pretty much every "common" format, and those that arnet supported can easily be added thanks to the Maya API...so that wouldnt be an issue.DarkMeasures said:Yes. True. Hopefully you can import objects from Miya though. And if so, a scaled down version could work. Or could could make a series of objects built so that when you add them together you get the final product.
NowInc said:Sadly i dont think theres much chance of any lower-polygon version of this thing being possible. I made these models before surface shading was even invented, so theres heavy bump maps and real model textures as apposed to the faked ones used in games now a days
Pretty much. And not 100% sure as to WHAT will be allowed using the RCT3 editor....we'll just see when it comes outDarkMeasures said:I was going to mention that. My brother is a game programmer and he was showing me all that stuff. I find it amazing how you can now take 1 polygon and with the proper texturing, you can make a very real looking Brick wall. But you make a point. I guess if you were to convert your project to RCT3, you would have to completly re-do the models.
