Wow. This beast won't die will it Dan? It would be exciting to see some new stuff, but this thread has been around forever and I pretty much didn't think it would go anywhere else. Of course, just as I do: BAM, there it is again in my Inbox . Take your time and if you have some free time and want to continue this project, I look forward to seeing what you post. :)

Follow my method folks, I just saved a year and a half by only finding this post now. Cool eh? I think this could be a good 'attraction' ('Think' being the right word, I have no idea what this is about). Nice pics, but the soul of every imagineering project needs to be story, story, story, (appearance). What in God's green goodness is stopping you from telling us the details? It wouldn't take as long as downloading huge image files or sound files, that's for sure. Look, we dn't really care about the suspense a whole lot anymore so just PLEASE TELL US WHAT THE STORY IS! *faints*

My Dragon's Lair project has been going for a week and it has a story, ride layout, and hopefully some concpet art soon. Elements (Going for over two years) has layout and concept art.

Maybe after making the one scene he got bored and then decided not to finish it but didn't want to make anyone sad? lol I dunno.

First of all: wow, you're talented! What I would give to be able to do that now. Ah well, all comes with time and I hope to get a lot better a both hand drawings and CG... and I hope to see more on your project soon!

Second, I'm not too fond of the idea. Of course I don't know it all yet, but I really don't think Epcot needs an element pavallion and I don't really approve of the ride (yet)... but I hope you can convince me otherwise...

Let's stop replying and let this thread RIP, (im aware that im continuing it by replying, but it's necessary). BTW that copyright comment? How can you copyright a ride idea that's nowhere near finished? I demand answers!!!

Um, Dan's been really busy with the Deadstar Assembly stuff, so I doubt that you're going to see anything from him for a while. Save your energy.

I am wondering though. Shouldn't this be a pavilian dealing with the full periodic table?

And also, wouldn't be better just to deal with the whole subatomic world? As in a new version of Journey into Inner Space.

So, are you EVER gonna finish this or what? lol
Wow. This thread has been here for such a long time! Dan, you have some great fans, me included.

To be honest TheOneVader, I haven't really seen much of Dan like I used to around here when the thread was first started. I guess with time our obligations and responsibilities change, and this was one of those things he had to put on the back burner and probably and sadly, let die. I've had to do it before as well, but who knows, we may one day see the finished product! Only time will tell. :)

I read this whole thread and was hoping for an end but got nothing:( which makes me ask a question which will happen first: the completion of this ride or Stitch being taken out of Tomorrowland.;) (It's a win win situtation)

Attack of the thread that wont die!!

I must say, im quite proud to have the longest running thread on this forum..and i REALLY wish i could give you guys some more from this project..but as ive said previously...a lot of what was "elements" is now loooong gone.

So heres a few answers to the questions you have all posed to me::

First off all..copyright...yeah..I copywrited the full project about 2 years ago "Just in case" mostly because im very parranoid..The final submission was a lot more full than what ive posted here.

Second..my life..yep..its BUSY.. Some of you know that aside from a normal "job" which snags me away from free time, Im also in a touring/recording band..which literally consumes more time than a REAL job. And sadly, there are no "vacations" from that...theres always something to do.

Third...story....ehhhh..ok..i confess..never got TOO far on the whole story thing. What I had was a VERY elaborate ride concept complete with a theme and visual references. Since I planned for it to be an epcot-esc attraction, I was more concerned with Theme rather than story. Weak as it may seem, at the time i thought it was cool...an attraction revolving around the various elements and how we need them day by day.

It was never, and still isnt my intention to draw this out as long as it has..I was hoping to have a fully completed concept posted 2 years ago..and to this day I regert I havnt finished.

So..to answer all your questions...is it dead?

*Pauses for dramatic effect*

No.

Tho I dont have the models I originally used for this, I can easily recreate them. I do still hold the rights to it and actually enjoy doing things like this. I still posess the tools to work on it, and I never abandon anything...its just "on hold" for a while.

Thanks for all the enouragment guys, it really does help and shows me that what ive done was appreciated, and that im doing something right!

That being said, I'll try and keep tabs on this thread more often and answer any questions you guys have..especially those regarding creating things like this yourself :D
