Attack of the thread that wont die!!
I must say, im quite proud to have the longest running thread on this forum..and i REALLY wish i could give you guys some more from this project..but as ive said previously...a lot of what was "elements" is now loooong gone.
So heres a few answers to the questions you have all posed to me::
First off all..copyright...yeah..I copywrited the full project about 2 years ago "Just in case" mostly because im very parranoid..The final submission was a lot more full than what ive posted here.
Second..my life..yep..its BUSY.. Some of you know that aside from a normal "job" which snags me away from free time, Im also in a touring/recording band..which literally consumes more time than a REAL job. And sadly, there are no "vacations" from that...theres always something to do.
Third...story....ehhhh..ok..i confess..never got TOO far on the whole story thing. What I had was a VERY elaborate ride concept complete with a theme and visual references. Since I planned for it to be an epcot-esc attraction, I was more concerned with Theme rather than story. Weak as it may seem, at the time i thought it was cool...an attraction revolving around the various elements and how we need them day by day.
It was never, and still isnt my intention to draw this out as long as it has..I was hoping to have a fully completed concept posted 2 years ago..and to this day I regert I havnt finished.
So..to answer all your questions...is it dead?
*Pauses for dramatic effect*
No.
Tho I dont have the models I originally used for this, I can easily recreate them. I do still hold the rights to it and actually enjoy doing things like this. I still posess the tools to work on it, and I never abandon anything...its just "on hold" for a while.
Thanks for all the enouragment guys, it really does help and shows me that what ive done was appreciated, and that im doing something right!
That being said, I'll try and keep tabs on this thread more often and answer any questions you guys have..especially those regarding creating things like this yourself
