UK Theme park Thorpe Park to introduce a new rule called "say no to B.O.". The rule has been put in place because too many smelly guests were stinking up their rides on the hottest days.

Any time the temperature reaches 25C (77F) and above, guests must keep their arms down on the rides at all times. Personally, I think that telling guests to take a shower and use deodorant may have been a better (smelling) solution, but obviously not everyone practices basic hygiene.

This is the second time in two weeks that a UK theme park has introduced silly rules - previously, Alton Towers banned Speedos from their premises "to protect the children".

So, what do you think of this new rule? Ever been stuck behind a screaming rollercoaster rider who spread their stinky pit stench to the rear of the ride?

:shrug: I guess it makes sense. I would barf if I had to smell some stinky guest.

Exactly. Just put signs in the park that say:

'Wipe and freshen your pits before ye sits'. :king:

This isn't silly. Nobody wants to see an overweight man in speedos. Espacially in a theme park, and especially in a British themepark where it is rarely that warm anyway. Protecting the Children was probably just a way to protect all of us. :lol:

Agreed! Protect the children?! Heck, protect me! Like you said I don't wanna see any guy, overweight or not, in a speedo. :hurl:

Hygene has nothing to do with it. Taking a shower and putting on deodorant at 7:00 AM before leaving home doesn't have much to do with how you may smell by 2 PM after walking around a hot theme park all day.

Yuk is all I can say. Instead of the Monorail say "please watch the doors" it should say please any smelly people get off and clean up before coming aboard. Mickey & Minnie don't like smelly people and people who are not dressed properly either. Thank you :ROFLOL:

That's what those little trial sized 99 cent deodorants are for. I never went to WDW in the hot months without one in my purse.

What I always wonder is how come stinky people can't tell when they are stinky? If I am stinky, I can tell right away and take the necessary measures to correct the problem. :lol: I can't imagine walking around reeking of BO and either not knowing, or not caring the way some people do.

:hurl::hurl::hurl::hurl: That would be disgusting.

:lol::lol::lol: That would be a great idea.

Stay out of the queue for Splash Mountain in the month of July in the middle of the day!!:hurl:

:brick::lol: That bad, huh?

Heading for the great escape.
Oh dear, given that large sections of Britains multicultural society dont use deo Id love to see how they are going to impliment this. Besides after this summer most folk will be stinking of damp clothes anyway
