What are these whirlygigs that have been removed y'all are talking about. I go to Epcot all the time and I just can't picture them.

Another thing checked off the list of things to restore Epcot to its original glory

Done:
Wand off SSE
SSE's supports lose LaL design
Tarps(hopefully) and spinny things come down

To go:
LaL blown up
Remove Nemo and donald from rides
Fix Imagination

We're getting closer...

Are the areas with the fiber optic lighting embedded in the concrete still there or is this work in a different area?

I don't mind the use of Nemo in The Seas pavilion, but I think the main ride should have been something different than a Fantasyland-style re-telling of the movie.

Exactly...Epcot is about having fun while learning, Not for cutesy as you say "fantasyland" stories. I wouldn't mind the characters being involved just because it is an appropriate tie in(similar to turtle talk) but it all just seems kinda pointless. Especially Donald and friends in Mexico.

Agree completely. Adding the characters from Finding Nemo into The Living Seas was a no brainer. The problem is that the characters, instead of being incorporated into the pavilion, took it over and completely changed its theme. What should be a pavilion focusing on the oceans has instead become focused on Nemo.

Good to see the repaving progress in Innoventions. And only one more whirly gig/twirly pole/spinny thing to go! I never minded those things, but the plaza does look much better without them.

It seems that Epcot is very slowly transferring back to Epcot Center. Is this true? Obviously it won't happen all the way without the Prisms, or Horizions, but they could reinstall elements of WOM in the test area of test track, redo Imagination to original form and then leave the rest as is (maybe a redo of Energy).
