Is that picture showing a bygone water feature in Communicore/Innoventions Plaza itself?
Ponds were on the NW/NE sides of the plaza. They've since been filled with concrete and planters.

Yes but the point is the area had become so cluttered that you could barely see many of the elements because the whole plaza was too busy.Is that picture showing a bygone water feature in Communicore/Innoventions Plaza itself?
Sometimes simpler is better.

Well the over-hang will soon be gone as well.
What are these whirlygigs that have been removed y'all are talking about. I go to Epcot all the time and I just can't picture them.
Another thing checked off the list of things to restore Epcot to its original glory
Done:
Wand off SSE
SSE's supports lose LaL design
Tarps(hopefully) and spinny things come down
To go:
LaL blown up - Soon
Remove Nemo and donald from rides - Not gonna happen, especially seas.. it's a very popular tie-in
Fix Imagination - soon
We're getting closer...
Yep.There removing the big poles and the triangle tarps? Is that the overhang your referring too?
Are the areas with the fiber optic lighting embedded in the concrete still there or is this work in a different area?
I don't mind the use of Nemo in The Seas pavilion, but I think the main ride should have been something different than a Fantasyland-style re-telling of the movie. To go:

They are still there currently, work has not got that far over yet.

Exactly...Epcot is about having fun while learning, Not for cutesy as you say "fantasyland" stories. I wouldn't mind the characters being involved just because it is an appropriate tie in(similar to turtle talk) but it all just seems kinda pointless. Especially Donald and friends in Mexico.
