Here's what i got...

A credible source at Universal Creative reports that the company is
considering using the Mummy's linear induction propulsion system on
McMonkey McBean. At this point, the idea is in the earliest concept
stages and it represents the only activity involving reviving the
attraction.

Could this attraction finally be opening!?
:D

................

LIM's on the greatest ride that never opened.

Looks like Universal is going to have its answer to the TomorrowLand Transit Authority everyone...

Hey, if Uni can get that thing running, the more power to'em.

did that every open to the public b4? like did anyone ever go on it?
No, and the reasons for it not opening has never truly been known. There are so many rumors from capacity problems, to weight issues but no one really knows the true reason. It's good to hear that Universal Creative isn't letting the ride die.

I dont know if they would think of it being a capacity probelm becuase they did after all open P-flyers (and its still open till today). And it would seem a bit unsafe if someone did get out if the vehicle. Although the TTA has been around for many years, but people don't just jump outta that.

i always thought it was the safety issue of exiting if broken down....i forgot about capacity and weight problems...it makes sense too......i dunno it doesnt look like an appealing ride to me anyways......i dont know why though

I really do hope they get this attraction open some day. It so disappointing when you go there and see this unused ride just sitting there collecting dust.

I honestly don't think that they will ever open this ride to the public, but I wish that they would do something with the track. I always thought that they should run cars on the track with characters in them. It would add so much energy to the area having these cars constantly going by over your head. But, I guess that that would be a little bit of a hazard, with people looking up at them instead of ahead. Oh well, any more ideas?

Ummm...they do

(or at least they did)

Cars with "Seuss characters" would drive along the tracks. (Not characters as in "character meet and greet" characters...but the cars were/are filled with stills of Seuss characters.

Thanks for snapping at me for not knowing something that you did.

Geeze...

Sorry if you took that as a snap but I didn't mean it that way at all. I was just telling you that they already DID do that at one time (so that you'd know...and you could feel like you actually had a good idea that was already being implemented). I'm not even positive if they still do this...I just know the last time I was there, they did.

I hope there's no hard feelings because I didn't mean to come across as rude.
