Hey everyone I'm just bored here.

What is your ONE favorite thing about the parks? Just one thing from all four parks. What one thing do you look forward to doing everytime you visit? I was going to focus this on WDW in general but I wasn't sure which forum to post that in so well keep it limited to the parks.

Mine is walking through Adventureland. I feel like I'm in a different world.

Walking under the archways of the Train Station and onto Main Street with that first glimpse of Cinderella's Castle. Best feeling in the world knowing I'm home

My daughter (5 years) said her favorite thing is walking through the gates, the train going by and seeing Cinderella's castle gives her chills on her legs.:sohappy:

She loves Space Ship Earth, she said she also gets chills on her arms and legs

AK-- she loves Kali River Rapids:)

For me:
MK...... just being in the park gives me a feeling of never wanting to leave, happiness all is well with the world
Epcot.... makes me feel peaceful... the structures, the countries... another park I never want to leave.
HS... excited for a couple attractions... then ready to go
AK... new found love .... That Tree of Life and the Oasis around it! So lovely

It's definitely the walk around music for me. I Love going from place to place in every park and almost everywhere I go there is music of some kind to match the environment I'm in. I especially like the music played in Animal Kingdom around The Flametree Bar B Que. It's so soothing.

The attention to detail (theming, the specific music in every land, the little things you pick up here and there)

yes - and related to that -- there are other theme parks that have functionally similar rides -- the carousel, the dumbo ride (just themed different elsewhere). But no where else are they as immaculate as at Disney. Everything looks like it just got a fresh paint job the night before.

Disney banks on the concept that people will pay a premium for ultimate environment perfection... and they're right.

I'm glad I posted this question. It's been just over a year since my last trip and seeing your answers are bringing back the memories for me. Especially all th music and attention to detail. There's never a dull moment in WDW even on buses or transportation in general in the world.

My favorite is walking through the International Gateway early in the morning and looking out over the World Showcase. The water is still, there are no people and the buildings look majestic.

Immersion...feeling completely immersed in the fantasy world that feels utterly real...just for a moment. The attention to detail, including the music helps with that.

The sites, sounds, and aromas on the first morning (any morning!)

Also - the 'woosh' of the monorail overhead at EPCOT....

I agree. The ambient music in the MK is great. I wonder what kind of ambient music will be used in the Fantasyland expasion and storybook curcus.

I imagine all of fantasyland might get a new and improved music loop. I don't know how Disney will handle "circus" music though...I'm sure it'll be fun.

I love the feeling that I'm in a parallel universe where nothnig else exists. You can completely forget your real life while you're there. Everything adds to that. The music, the smells, the architecture... EVERYTHING! specially the Mickey ice cream bars :slurp:

Being welcomed by the CM's as I enter any of the parks. Their friendly wave, smiling faces, pleasant attitudes, and conversation. I know anywhere I go I'll be met with the same. Unlike anything else this sets the tone for my entire trip. THANK YOU CM"s One of the reasons I'll keep coming back.

I always tear up when I see the electrical parade and Cinderella's carriage goes by and she waves to me! I feel special.
