Nobody seems to be sure, they are saying that it's a combination of the fact that there is a growning unemployed group, made up mostly of youth (under 25 years) that started the riots, others say it's because of the french attitude against muslim and other foreginers living there.

The French police had not covered a few suburbs for over a decade.....the suburbs are populated by Arabs (which France has a ton of due to its former colonial holdings) and French-africans.

The residents have been causing problems for a while, but recently someone called the police due to the problems.....the police responded....and the trouble-makers, not used to seeing police, tried to run. Two hid in a power substation......they got electrocuted and died.....which the residents think is the police's fault.

You mean the Riots in France? Supposedly a couple of teens were running from french police and they ran into an electric sub station and got electrocuted and the muslims teens blamed the police for their deaths.
