Was this a "goof" up with Mousekeeping? Bloody sheets, room a wreck, can't imagine. Someone's job may have been lost if it was something Mousekeeping overlooked or mishandled.

No no, room was completely clean! Even as much to make me say "wow, guess the values aren't that bad..." Since the wife were so used to deluxes.

It was the next morning... I woke up and saw blood on the sheets and at first thought I thought I may have picked a scab or something but then saw it on my wife's side and I knew something was up. Her skin is pristine!

It was like 645 AM so I was in my normal morning daze, then took a look and we had about 50 bugs ... Some were big after their meal of our blood, others were tiny... The buffet ended before they got their turn. Bits on our forearm and behind our ears etc eye etc.

This was no housekeeping mishap.

Quiet and well kept. Less in your face than POP. Bus and water taxi service at POFQ is best on property

This is my experience as well...I can only think of one "Bad" bus wait at POFQ out of the 7 times I have stayed there. And the water taxi is an awesome perk as well.

I almost never deviate because I like POFQ so dang much. It's a very relaxing atmosphere, and in the evenings they have movies some nights in the courtyards with snacks for the kids etc. Great place.

Same here. We're committed to a deluxe resort on our next trip but we're having a tough time not staying at our "home" resort of POFQ.

1950's building, first floor.

Disney did well though, taxi to Walmart with 100 cash per person. 4 fast passes and we've been moved to the Yacht Club. Overall amazing service despite the crappy situation.
You, my friend, are simply destined for Epcot area deluxe resorts. :) No matter how you try to fight it, that is where the universe puts you.

I know this is an odd question, but did you get your clothes heat treated. Don't want you to take them in to your own home. Working in hotels, I've heard of these cases. Nightmares for management. I've had the unfortunate reality in dealing w/these cases and can answer any questions. Just send a pm

We Just had a very similar situation like the OP on booking. We received a pin code for free dining, and were going to try and stay at PORS. Hotel, tickets, and free dining was $2165 in a preferred room.

While browsing this site, I read about being able to stay at a value resort and pay the difference to upgrade the dining plan since values only receive the QS plan.

I will say that if we were able to I would have stayed at AOA little mermaid rooms, however those rooms were then only rooms on property off limits for the promotion, so I thought lets try Pop?

I went online and showed one of my DS videos of the resort at Pop. He seemed unimpressed. I remember a resort had toy story rooms, so I checked out All Star Movie Resort and he loved it! Long story short, we ended up booking All Stars with the upgraded dining in a preferred room with toy story requested! Total package price was $1667

We saved $500 which is a lot of money to us so we are thrilled we get to go for the second time this year!
