Evening everyone....
It's been an....interesting day here. Book Fair was delivered first thing this morning, got a fair amount of work done, then went home to eat my lunch. There was a message on my machine that Dad was going to the ER, as he had a nosebleed that they couldn't stop.
He has to take blood thinner, so you can imagine what I'm thinking at this point. Get myself over to ER and he's sitting up with a washcloth up to his nose, looking like he'd been mugged. Turned out there was some kind of polyp in one nostril, which they cauterized (sp?) and the bleeding stopped. His hemoglobin is fine, and he already had a doctor appt scheduled for tomorrow, so he'll follow up with him. Once we knew he was fine, we were teasing him about behaving himself so Mom wouldn't have to clock him in the future. :ROFLOL: Thank goodness!

Thanks to all for the comments about the dress. I decided to order it in lavender and see what I think once I try it on. If it looks too casual for the wedding, I'm sure I'll find another use for it.
I had no voice today so I called in, then DD came down (it's her winter break this week). We decided to go dress shopping for her and found a perfect dress. She didn't order it today, but she probably will in a week or 2. She looked absolutely stunning in it.

Not yet , but it will either be April or summer next year. The thing with the dress for her is that styles are often discontinued, so if you find something you like, you should order it soon. Did I mention that she had to have a size 2?!!!!!

Well everything she tried on today was big on her, since they only had a couple of 2's in the whole store, so they had clothespins holding things together. I haven't worn a size 2 since I was about 6 months old!!!

So I had a crazy lady today she came in and I thought she was there to do research so I just passed her on to the archives volunteer. Well a few minutes later the volunteer called me and said the women were there to see me. So I asked her what I could do for them and she said that they needed their info for Disney program. I said ok well give me just a moment to check that I have all your info, well she had never filled out the application and because of that I never ran a background check. And I told her that I was very sorry, but she didn't fill out the application for her group,and because of that I couldn't place her at the booth, she said she never received the application to fill it out, I said well I sent out 2 emails and your info was never turned in. She said that I was being stupid and I said I am very sorry you feel that way miss but that is the society's policy. She left and then came back in, and said she needed copies of the emails I said that the emails were confidental because they containted others personal info and I could not give her copies, she said that I never sent the emails because we didn't want her I told that that was not the case, she continued saying that we were trying to discriminate against her, it's like I said to my boss it's two older women, and 95% of my volunteers are older individuals so yeah not discrimination. As it had turned out she had called my boss at her office, which we still have no clue how she got that number, and my boss asked if she filled out the application and she said she hadn't and my boss told her she needed to do that and then we would get back with her so she had 2 emails and 1 phone call in which she was told to do the application and she never didn't do it so I have no sympathy for her. :shrug:

Well, Joel has reading to do, and I brought home laminate to trim....been putting stuff off because I'm a bit stiff - have a good night everyone! :kiss:

I'm good. I was off today, so I went over to Universal with friends. It was a lot of fun.
And work is going well. I'm really enjoying it over at GMR

I actually enjoyed it a lot. It wasn't that crowded, so we were able to ride all of the coasters multiple times.
Also, I got to see how the HP land is coming along! I got some pictures of the castle. :sohappy:
