Shredding the Gnar with Magic Friends

Rachel, I hope you and Joanna are both still around GMR in July - I've never gotten to experience it yet, although Mike and Abby have.

The snow seems to have stopped for now! And the phone hasn't rung, so I am optimistic the kids will be going back tomorrow. I will probably spend the entire day at the school getting as much done for the book fair as I can, because they are predicting another flippin' round of snow at the beginning of next week. :( *thinks about relocating to the Bahamas*

GMR is one of our favorite attractions. Only 8 more weeks....:D

Christa, how is it that you are 45 minutes from the World, and I live in Massachusetts, but I'm there more often than you?? That is messed up.
I agree completly with you Kristin, however I, at least right now, refuse to spring for an AP, now if they'd just do the monthly payments like DL I'd totally do. So, to go over one day for $80 is a bit steep for me. Then there is also the fact that the only days I don't work are Sundays, and Mondays so I can go over on Mondays but I usually end up working at my parents office on Mondays...so factors prevent me...

Aw, that's too bad. It would kill me to be so close but yet so far away.... ((hugs))

I will absolutely be at GMR in July. Joanna I'm not sure about because her CP ends in May but she is looking to extend and stay at GMR at least until August. If you ask her what her official plans are, I'm sure she'll be glad to tell you.

So, I know our plans to see the WWoHP at Universal are paramount.....and I found out yesterday that the end of the week we're going to be there, a HP fan convention will be arriving :dazzle:...so now I don't know how to plan this week. I guess we'll start at Uni and see how it goes?

In the meantime, I have some news of my own to share: I passed my assesment today and I am now an official Tour Guide at The Great Movie Ride. I can't wait to show you through the great moments at the movies.

Yay!! Congrats! :sohappy:

Great, because it's showtime! Ready when you are, CB!

Just between you and me, this is no ordinary tour. The Great Movie Ride brings these movies to life, and puts you right in the middle of the action. :animwink:

Now you have two good reasons to come there on your next trip: me and Joanna.

:D

Yup, most definitely!! We usually ride 2-3 times per trip, anyway. I'll be in touch w/both of you a few days before we head down so you can tell me when you'll be there.

Yay!

Even though my CP is due to end in May, I have no plans to leave. So if all goes well, I will either hopefully go FT in May, or apply to extend (then go FT in Aug).

OMG YAY! How was she? Was it as cold over there today as it was here?

It was great seeing her again (and I got to meet her husband for the first time). And it wasn't too bad, high 50s for the high (but I was inside all day, which was nice).
