I really don't like the idea of an ultimate fastpass. I would not pay for it. I think it is unfair because Disney nickels and dimes us to death anyway.

just one more thing that the "haves" have over the "have-nots".

while i don't consider myself a "have-not" the principle bothers me beyond belief. disneyworld is one place where Walt would not have wanted the rich to enjoy themselves more than the less fortunate.

that said, i would definitely buy it, in self defense, because all the other people will be doing it and the stand-by line will be intolerable, as everyone in the fastpass lane goes first.

however, to do it, i would cut costs elsewhere, like staying at a mod instead of a deluxe. so disney wouldn't be making a greater profit from me in the long run. i suspect i'm not alone in this theory, ergo, doubt it wil come to fruition as the only purpose for this would be increased profit.

I would not pay for it....I dont care for the idea...I feel the system they are using is working fine. People send enought money going to Disney already. Lines are a part of the experince.

Fastpass works because it properly distrubutes guests for a particular attraction throughout the day. Universal fastpass would completely throw this off and make fastpass in it's entirety almost mute. Look at what happens at Test Track. Fastpass line backs up because people are using vouchers from a previous breakdown or rain out.

They do this at Six Flags and I think it is awful. People in a better economic situation get to step in front of everyone else who waited in line. The chatter I heard in line after witnessing this in action was always negative. Some guests even cursed at the people who were using the system. While I don't condone that sort of behavior - I understand the sentiment. This kind of system can create bad feelings and that is not something you want in the park. And I hope it never sees the light of day in Disney World.

Fast Pass is different because everyone has access to it. It doesn't matter how much money you have.

While I can't say if I would like or dislike this until the details were actually worked out and reviewable. I am leaning more toward liking the idea than not liking it. They have been using these as perks for people who bought or looked at buying DVC points. So far no major catastrophe has resulted

The way the DVC fast pass perks worked is you would slide your card into the FP kiosk and a stub would print out with a return time that was immediate. Then you would get in the FP return line with all the other people returning to ride. You don't stick out as some sort of elite, I get to go ahead of you person.
