Merf ... even your blurry pics are awesome ... thanks as always ..... one ? ... where is the Gingerbread house at Epcot?

It's inside the Liberty Inn - the quick service restaurant at the American Adventure. It's right inside the doors. I've been stopping in to look at it the past couple weeks and it looks beautiful.

Answers...

Promenade Refreshment is to the right, toward Canada, across from the store as you enter World Showcase. Sort of on the other side of the rose garden walkway from the refreshment port.

The gingerbread house is in the seating area of Liberty Inn.

I think the Contempiorary's store is Fantasia, because of the brooms and hats, which was the name of the store the arcade replaced.

Great pictures, merf. I like the SSE signs. The new warning sign for SSE is interesting, too. I guess the new SSE will focus more on invention rather than communication?

Question: Exactly where in WS Plaza is the new Promenade restaurant? How long have they been working on it?

They're reusing the area that was used for the Dominican Republic during Food and Wine Festival. It would be great if this location and the one by American Adventure meant the end of the carts around WS (it did get rid of the one by the American Gardens Theatre). But it looks like it'll just be more clutter and disgusting smell of turkey legs...

I think the funnel cake stand smells worse then the turkey legs...

It's not quite the dominican republic stand, but very close. They've been building it all through the Food/Wine fest. There are several larger kiosks being reused for holiays around the world for "Holiday Cheer" (that means beer) but the Promenade and Fife seem permanent.

Also, Figgy - what is the "thing" they installed on WS bridge? The canopy where the WorldKey kiosks used to be.

Really? I love the funnel cake smell but the turkey legs make me want to :hurl:

I heard rumors that the old WorldKey kiosks might be turned into something like a survey station or an area for the Kim Possible game. I haven't seen it recently (I'm avoiding the parks like the plague this week) so I don't know what has been going on with it lately. I haven't heard anything for certain though.

It is worth noting that in addition to the new shop (which is indeed still named Fantasia), the new restrooms have opened on the first floor in the lobby.

Wow, that was quick. I was just at the Contemporary last tuesday and they were still working on the gift shop and the walls were still up. I really like how it turned out.

And great job on the Castle picture with the lights. I could not get a good picture of the castle all lit up to save my life LOL.

That's one of like 20-30 attempts ;) Someone's advice here, i forgot who (but thanks!), to use the action or multi-capture setting (yeah, i dont even know what it's really called) which takes a sequence of photo quickly. Works good most time for night shots, though you end up with a few crap photo, you just pick out the good one.

At least these buildings are nicely designed and permanent. I hate the clutter of those mobil carts.

Oh no, I totally agree with you. I hope that these permanent locations will mean the end of the carts... but I'm sure it won't... I was so pleased to see the one by the American Gardens taken out in place of the well-themed one. I hope it's a trend that continues.

Thanks for the update! I think I like the new Contemporary shop, I might have to breeze through there before we head to Chef Mickey's :D Also the signage for SSE is looking good. I"m still sad that I won't get to experience one of my favorite attractions on our upcoming trip.:(
