Ok...well, apparently they just stole a street sign...but I swear I saw a baggie of something and a pipe pulled out of the car...don't know what happened, but they just got a ticket from what I could tell. They drove off on their own accord.

Ummm...that happened at my daughter's school today. :lookaroun

And it involved an 8th grader and three cop cars.

Yep - they held the kids 10 minutes past dismissal, I'm assuming until they had the kid secured. Rumors are rife at this point, so I don't really know any more than that....'cops had protective vests on, kid had a weapon, kid punched the cop'....who really knows at this point? It's a little startling in our small town though.

And it's just sad....12-14 year old already messed up and headed for the courts. It happens all the time, but I can't help but wonder...is this the tip of the iceberg at the school?

That's unfortunately just schools nowadays...it's not the downhillness of any one particular school...just a unfortunate fact of life. Which is such a shame.
