Morning Joe
Morning Joe!
So, I have a tear in one of my contacts. And I have to leave it in cuz I have astigmatism in that eye and literally can't see without it (even w/ 1 good eye...can't see the computer). AND I work a long day today until 7:30 tonight.

Morning Steph, Jon and Joe!
Morning Saaaaaaaammmmmmyyyyyyy
Hey Joe! How are you?
Meh. My best.
It's all you can ask for right?
gonna be busy at work... and I'm delaying the inevitable ridiculous rush of work i need to do... :hammer:
You?
The same. Trying to push some of the paperwork off my desk and onto someone else. I am avoiding an Excel report I have to do. Nothing difficult...just tedious.
Oh yeah...
I hear ya...
ughhhhhhhhh i just finally got my daily reports out... blahhhhhhhhh
I can see!!! :sohappy:
It was getting really bad so I walked over to my eye doc to see if they had any spares or anything. Even if it wasn't my prescription I told them it'd be better than nothing. Well, my prescription is over a year old (by 4 days) so they were kind of like "meh". So, I played the pregnant card. Yup. First time I've done it, but it worked. I told them that I was pregnant and really needed to be able to see so I didn't trip or slip and fall, especially w/ all of the snow on the ground. So they gave me a spare to get me through the day. :king: And I was able to make an appointment to get fitted for new glasses.

Thanks! I reaaaalllly needed to get in for new glasses anyway. I did have some but they were super old...and then my dog decided they made a good chew toy when he was a puppy.Sweet! Good job, great thinking! :sohappy:
Thanks! I felt guilty at first, using my little man like that, but it is true that I need to see so I don't lose my balance. Not sure how safe it would've been when I got off work trying to walk down all the stairs & the escalator to the subway w/ 1 eye. :veryconfuYay Steph!!! Go you for playing the pregant card!!! :lookaroun
Ugh...I don't feel so hot today...![]()

I just have a sinus coldy type thing. My throat is sore today...although I drank some coffee which helped, but it still doesn't feel so hot. My head's also kind fuzzy. It's the stupid "season change" cold I get.![]()
