Shooting the Breeze with our Magic Friends

Oh, I totally remember. But that was just me and you. I was talking about meet ups that were more than just two people

Sorry to scare you :p

Speaking of scary, who wants to see what I look like these days?

Maybe now would be a good time to come out of the closet.

Never had a bad day.

Things are good...didn;t get much done today, which makes me mad. And I'm tired of working but on the other hand so thankful just to have a job.
I would say I would be happy to win and share a million dollars but I might be taxed to death on it so I would just keep it for myself. I am tired of working also and I just work part time.

LOL...one of the games I play when I feed Jack in the middle of the night is "What would I do with a million dollars?". The game originally started out at 250,000 but quickly escalated.

And yes, you would be taxed to death on it. We now punish the wealthy in this country. How dare you be prosperous???

Agreed. We are def. in let go and let God mode now. I'm keeping my head down and my hopes up.

Gotta run for a bit...em has a sleepover friend and I have to get them settled.

Yawn. Good morning. Is this what time normal people get up on weekends? I've been spoiled lately, Grant's been getting up with the kids and letting me sleep in. So I promised him I'd get up today. Which is why I went to bed at 9 o'clock, as opposed to stayin gup all night wreaking havoc all over the Internet (my Saturday m.o.).

Hope y'all have a magical day!

Hello  I am actually going back to sleep soon. I got up because I was hungry and I thought I would go on the computer while I was eating :)

Hello all... we got an inch of snow overnight. Anastasia has been looking out the windows saying "Nooo" Which I think means snow. I'm actually kinda excited about snow this time. She just loves it so much. I know it's crazy :brick:

Hey Betty!

Hey, Momma! How was your trip????!

Man. Who knew Babies R' Us was soooo exhausting?! We made our first trip today to scope things out. :dazzle:Babies take so much...stuff!!! I came home & crashed for 2 hours. It was all a bit much for me :o

I can't believe you didn't venture into one before now. I lived in BRU for a while there. It should make you feel better that babies don't actually "Need" all that stuff. they've been getting along without wipes warmers for hundreds of years. Although some of it I wouldn't live without. (Bouncy seat and swing! Both are musts!)

DD is supposed to fly back from FL Monday night, so we're hoping the storm is long gone by then.

Totally OT, we had robins on our front lawn this morning!

Our robins don't even bother to migrate anymore.

but my hyacinths are coming up in the front garden! :sohappy: (Only to have been buried by snow this morning....:lookaroun)

What I do know that I could use, and it's totally free!, is some courage & words of wisdom for raising a boy. I had a bit of a hormonal "worry-fest" last night when I was trying to fall asleep. :o I realized I don't know the first thing about what to do w/ a boy! I've got oodles of experience w/ girls, but boys are foreign territory for me.
Then it went to wondering how to raise a nice, loving, respectful boy. And then to how do I raise a good man. One who doesn't turn into a "Columbine kid or Scott Peterson" in the world. I think the whole idea of the responsiblity of "parenthood" beyond caring for a baby hit me hard. Then I forced myself to not think about it and fell asleep

:o *hangs head in shame*

I've got a good article/writing to send you on this... let me dig it up for you... it might take me a while, so be patient! :p

Yeah some of the stuff seemed a bit ridiculous (wipe warmers included)

Oooo that'd be great, thanks! Yesterday I bought the "Idiot's Guide to Raising Boys" :o
