Kind of like all the newbies around here complaining about the smell eminating from the farm they just moved next to. One couple actually went so far as trying to have a dairy farm shut down because it disrupted their way of life. It had been there almost 100 years! The judge was dumbfounded...he told them to pay more attention next time they buy a house and to move back to the city where they came from!

Too bad the dairy farmer had to put out money to hire a lawyer to defend himself. Hopefully he countersued to have that idiot couple pay for his attorneys fees.

(Some) people want cell phone coverage in their basements, but don't want to see (or live near) the cell tower. These same people want to be 10 minutes from the airport, but don't want to hear the jet noise. Get real people!

In our township, there is a development across the road from a gun club. The club was there first. Several years ago, the homeowners in a new "mcmansion" development in central New Jersey attempted to have nationally known drag strip closed (they bought houses in early March). The judge told them to do better research before buying a house.

Why is is always someone else problem ? Hey you moved there, live with it or move.

Sort of like the people who move here after visiting on vacation, then complain about all of the tourists and "newcomers." Or all of the people who want to build out at the beach, then complain about the crowding, traffic, etc. Excuse me, but what did you THINK would happen???

There is a man who moved into a house right next door to a theatre in Bristol and he wants the theatre closed down because he is disturbed when sets are brought in and out.

You get them everywhere.

Just read about this case. The couple bringing the action bought their house twelve years before the first roller coaster was installed. So to be fair it's not as if they knew that a quiet mansion ruin with nice gardens was going to end up as a full blown theme park.
