the show was a farce. My wife watched it all, I watched maybe 30 minutes of the entire thing. It was a joke.

Jason? I was really hoping that she would see past the insecure front to see the horn-dog, frat boy underneath. No offense to waiters, but he is a Student/Waiter... at 26!
Twenty-six year old frat boy... 27 year-old millionaire. Was it that hard of a decision.
Don't expect another season. This show relied on if its star girl was superficial or not... and she was.
Oh well... good premise... stupid girl.

Although, should she have NOT picked him just because he is good-looking? I did not watch the show so I don't know much about it. I agree that it seems like a joke. Although this morning, someone whose husband used to work with the rich boy called into the radio station and said he was a jerk, he was rude to the tech people, etc, etc. Could be true, but it sounds a bit bitter if you ask me

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh... I don't know what to say! :lol: I feel bad for the people who still think reality shows are "real". Have you ever seen one that matches any reality you've EVER experienced? (my personal favorite moment is the bachelor non engagement ring. "Here, here's a ring... I don't know why I'm giving it to you, I guess to signify that we're... um, dating, because nobody would've known otherwise... so here ya go." :lookaroun )

I am so happy that she picked Jason. He was so kind to her. And Melana was a perfect pick for the show. I dont think she came across as superficial and shallow overall on the show. I have never watched one relaity televeision dating show (i love reality tv competitions!!!) but I watcxhed Avwerage Joe and it really was a pleasant surprise. I am looking forward to the next one, but the girl has nothing next to Melana. She seems cold spirited, brash, and plain evil. Melana was sweet and knew what she wanted!
If she picked the rich guy, most would ahve complained that she was a gold digger b/c he was the "average" guy and a "pretty girl like that does not want an average dude like that." And the average joe was cruel to Melana dressed up as a chubby cousin. Jason was nice or said nothing at all. He seems sensitive and an overall nice guy.
It was a good show and I am glad I watched it and am glad that Melana picked the *right* person.

I agree that Melana didn't seem superficial. I totally agree with that, but the vibes that I got from Jason in comparison to Adam weren't the best. Adam seemed very honest and pure, whereas Jason seemed like all he cared about was getting in Melana's pants ('I want you to lose your inibitions')(sp). I felt it was weird that Jason would load up a table with alcohol. Like I said, the only one I saw was last night, and even then it was only the first thirty minutes, but from my impression Adam was the best one across the board. It's very possible though that I am resenting the fact that I am an average joe and feel for my brother.
