Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Preview Thoughts

Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
I have not but my DS (mid 20's) has. He summed it up the same way he has summed up the rest of FLE, it is visually a cool attraction to look at, different visuals while riding but an underwhelming actual ride experience. Not bad, not good, just Meh.

His hope for the future is Dwarf and Fairytale Hall will continue to be big draws making the wait times in the balance of the MK better for the short term anyhow.

This is what I'm (selfishly) hoping for too lol. At least I admit it, right?

Walking by the spot yesterday where you enter the mine, you can hear Dig Dig Dig right there. It was very clear. Not sure if it's that loud from the inside and can be heard outside, or if there's a speaker hidden somewhere outside. I definitely noticed it.

Is the only music on the ride the Hi Ho and cottage dance? No Dig Dig Dig part in the mine section?

One of the unfortunate parts of a relatively short ride time is that there is not the opportunity to have longer portions of the songs from the movie featured. A more robust mine scene and cottage scene would have allowed the music from them to be experienced for longer.

I still think they could have put a little instrumental in the background. It seems imagineers have forgotten the value of music on attractions.

You can hear the Dig Dig Diging song and Hi Ho Ho song in the mine scene just depends on where you are. In the front it seems you don't get to enjoy most of it and in the back you have a better chance. I usually sat in the middle so I got to hear both fairly well.

That's good to know. It would be odd without those somewhere.
