Selfie sticks - is this a thing at WDW yet? Disney clarifies policy

I was there today (Magic Kingdom) and didn't see an overwhelming amount at all. I did notice them a LOT at Universal though.

I remember the days when people looked at you like you had sixteen heads when you took a selfie with a regular camera. It was like "awww how sad they have to take a picture alone" now it's all the rage. LOL. And even more sad? I saw a Walgreens ADVERTISING "We have selfie sticks!"

I mean, I can see their purpose, to a degree, but the disregard for those around you is getting out of hand (and not just with selfie sticks but in general, there's just such disregard for the person next to you; it's sad).

That sign is way more irritating than a selfie stick.

Watch this till the end and it truly shows the lengths Disney will go to enforce the No Selfie Sticks rule. I aint gonna lie, it had me dying at the end. LOL.

I think they should have kicked him out of the park. Not only did he knowingly break a rule that is there for guest safety (and not just "because" Disney doesn't like it), but he also caused an interruption in the rest of those guest's experience by breaking a rule just because he's special and wanted to do this.
