hey everybody I think we should stuff some erasers down Darrel's pants at recess, ha ha ha and maybe some of the jello I have left from lunch.

*of course, our behavier has lapsed beyond the age of 13 to the age of 7 or 8. I guess at 13 we would be talking about giving Christi a 'wet-willy' :lookaroun and actually de-pantsing Darrel during studyhall*

Ok.

So what exactly is a "cootie" anyway ?

According to www.websters.com, a "cootie" is a slang term for a body louse! Assuming that girls take a bath each night or a shower in the morning, there would be no reason to think that any girls (or guys for that matter) have "cooties."

Well actually cooties (lice) like clean bodies & hair best. How do I know this? Well back when princess #2 was in first grade there was an epidemic. Ended up going thru 3 rounds of medicated shampoo to get rid of them (they finally had to get rid of the carpet in school).

Ok, dumb question here. What's a swirly? I can guess that it has something to do with a toilet.

We did wedgies when I was in school.

A swirly is turning someone upside down, sticking their head in a toilet and flushing. They are fun to give, but not to get.

Its kinda weird how mixed up life is at a young age. Kids getting pregnant, writers, singers, workers. All at a young age of 13 or higher. Wht can't it go back to the good old days??

Believe it or not, "teen-hood" has only been around for a few generations. Back in the old days, you went from kid to adult, minimal education and babies (plural) before 20 (if you were a girl).

Interesting how now that it doesn't HAVE to be that way, kids are passing up the privileges they have to do it anyway.

ENJOY YOUR YOUTH! Appreciate what you have or I WILL call the Swirly police to lay the smack down!

*I want to be Chief of the Swirly Police? Can I be the Chief of the Swirly Police!*

Side note anecdote time- Back in my junior year, our chorus did the Music Man, and had elemtary school kids in the show as well. They had a seperate dressing room for the kids, but two of the high schoolers were appointed baby-sitters. Two of the kids, aged 9 and 10, were caught making out. That was a very disturbing event for the high schoolers...

Yep, at least it's going strong in the Cincinnati area. I just played in a fund raising golf outing back on April 2. Good friend of mine from highschool is the area leader.

Back to the thread,

uhhh man, I don't think those were Christi's ponytails you were playing with. . . . here she comes. . .RUN!!!
