Has anyone attempted to dye a pair of shoes? When I got married I liked my bridesmaid shoes so much that I bought a pair too with the plans to have them dyed black after the wedding. We are going to a wedding in 2 weeks that I really want to wear the shoes, but I can't find any shoe shop here that will dye them for me. They all tell me that I have to buy the shoes there for them to dye them......so now I'm going to have to attempt it myself.

Have you tried a shoe repair shop? They might be able to do it for you. Other than that, you may be looking at a real mess.
