The nice thing is, we are taking the train on Friday so I have Friday off.

Has anyone attempted to dye a pair of shoes? When I got married I liked my bridesmaid shoes so much that I bought a pair too with the plans to have them dyed black after the wedding. We are going to a wedding in 2 weeks that I really want to wear the shoes, but I can't find any shoe shop here that will dye them for me. They all tell me that I have to buy the shoes there for them to dye them......so now I'm going to have to attempt it myself.

Oh dear. No, I've never done it. I tend to be a little clumsy, so I try to avoid anything that could potentially cause a huge mess...dyeing something would be just such a thing. :hammer:
