Don't forget.. anything can happen. Look at the '04 Red Sox. Down 3 games to none against the Yankees in the ALCS, and we came back to win it. Some Red Sox fans already think this series is won, but I know better. So I'll save my comments until the series is over.... don't want to be extracting my foot from my mouth.
Thanks. :)

I love the dining room decor!

Hey! No! That was a wedding present from WHF's parents! You do not get to have my couch! :fork:

Just a thought...do you have just the couch and chair? BTW, I think the scale of the end tables and coffee table is fine. What about moving the couch where the chair is - like putting it on the same angle as the chair? And then moving the chair over by the window? You could turn the rug too to be in front of the couch. That way you could have your living area open to the dining area - which is really cute! :D I don't know if I'm making sense there - what do you think?

no, you make complete sense...the problem...that wall where the chair is...well, if you angle the couch the same way the chair is angled...it takes up half the room and then puts the couch a. right on top of the tv and b. really close to the doorway that goes into the hall...we tried it last night and it looked really awkward.

See, our room configuration makes it almost impossible to move stuff around to different areas without looking stupid. We had a long discussion about what to do when we were setting up our furnature originally. And that's where the couches went. There was the opening on the side next to the table by the window, but if we put the table there, it takes away the opening. It was a small opening, but an opening. Now, it's almost completely blocked off and the easiest way to get to the dining room is through the kitchen or climbing around that table, if your thin.

(Also, the camera apparently make the tables look a tiny bit smaller. They are just a smidge larger looking in real life)

I like the idea though. Just in real life, it doesn't work as brilliantly as we think it will in our heads.

I see - well, I'm into to doing things on angles, that's why I suggested it. But I like those end tables Nibbs - and I think we have almost identical area rugs. :D

Vince, how come Prince Eric is in your avatar?
I thought he was a fruit loop...

I'm really surprised that he hasn't photoshopped it to where he is dancing with Ariel.

Nibbs, good luck with the furniture. If I had any suggestions, I would tell you, but I really have nothing.

Oh, I totally like angles too. That's why they're on angles now! :D

And glad you like the end tables. I think I need my mom to come by and help with her eye. She might tell me it looks fine and to just leave it alone. We'll see.

And did you get your rug from Lowes?
