We're having a quick dinner because tonight we go pay the caterer and take the boatload of junk that goes to the hall with us. Yay for getting most of my closet space back! After that, the kids are coming back here. George is going to show some of his WDW videos and we're going to work out an itinerary for them to follow.

I'm back for a little bit. Joel bent back his thumbnail on some playground equipment :dazzle:, so the school nurse was talking to me. She doesn't think there's any permanent damage, but it may be bruised. I'm wondering if he jammed his finger. :brick: Poor baby!

I totally understand that. We've always got by without them - we never used to eat big meals there anyway. The last time we went with the kids I did make reservations though because I wanted to make sure we got to try places I had heard so much about. Frankly, I think they give you way too much food.....

I totally understand that. We've always got by without them - we never used to eat big meals there anyway. The last time we went with the kids I did make reservations though because I wanted to make sure we got to try places I had heard so much about. Frankly, I think they give you way too much food.....

George and I have never made reservations ahead of time. We like to eat what we want when the mood strikes. So far, we've had no problem making reservations on the days we wanted them, usually at Mama Melrose, The Prime Time or the Biergarten. They're our favorites. We've eaten at many other places on the spur of the moment with very few problems.

George and I have never made reservations ahead of time. We like to eat what we want when the mood strikes. I think now though it's probably tougher...at least getting in to the places that are extremely popular.

I don't really like making ressies either...and I would rather eat on a whim, but unfortunately with all the uberplanners, it makes it harder and harder to do so. (And Disney doesn't help by releasing the ADRs so far in advance.)

The eating experience isn't one of the more important to us. George would be happy with a turkey leg every night. And I'm easy. I can grab a sandwich anywhere. We usually have one nice dinner a trip. And one breakfast. The rest of the time we wing it.

Eating usually isn't for us, but after experiencing the dining plan, I'm reconsidering. Although I hate how much time is taken away for you to eat...but I still really liked having the meals taken care of and knowing I could eat whatever I wanted without worrying.

3 days 'till Disney

Just for a few details I neglected to mention: We're staying at Buena Vista Suites again, a VERY nice Good Neighbour Hotel for $80/night. And I get my own bed/room, as opposed to the usual floor.

(Seriously, I always get the floor in ANY hotel room. :lookaroun)

We should be in Orlando (from St. Pete) around 2 p.m., and then we'll likely go shopping around downtown before heading to Downtown Disney for the evening. (My God, I HAVE to get a Ghirardelli sundae. Someone remind me on Thursday night.)

Epcot on Saturday... no surprises there. Vince, if you decide to visit your "loathed" park, I'll be the tall guy gorging himself... I mean... SAMPLING the food part of the F&W Fest. (And really, who could miss a 6-foot man eating chicken? :lookaroun)

Back to St. Pete area on Sunday to get Sis back for Monday classes. Whatever we do Sunday and Monday is up in the air. And speaking of up in the air, I'll be back Tuesday, and I might be back HERE on Wednesday at the earliest.

I honestly HATE the photo uploading system we use for our weddings. It is the absolute worst! I have been working on putting a wedding up all day...and am no where closer to getting it done. :fork:
