There is a school in Dallas that has banned holding hands for male and female students. I believe it is a middle school. It is a hands off, no touch policy. No friends or BF,GF holding hands.

My friend's daughter is a senior at one of our private schools (K - 12), and those kids have to sign a promise that they will not date at all. I think that's nuts!!!!
 Wha? Huh? Yikes!!!! :dazzle:

Our middle school doesn't allow it either. High school's a different story though....

Yeah well, how's this for enlightening? I have a friend who is a fourth grade teacher and currently has the class from he!!. She confiscated a note written from a boy to a girl asking if she was wearing underwear. A nine year old! :hurl:
Sometimes schools have to do what they can. Apparently parents can't be bothered teaching self-control. :brick::brick:

Well, here's a couple of more from another PTG mom. She works at a boutique that sells formals, and girls have been flocking in to buy dresses for homecoming (which seems insane to me, but that's another story). These girls are size 2, but their moms are squeezing them into 0's and then telling them to lose weight. :dazzle::brick:. Another mom told her that her daughter's dress wasn't low enough in the back - apparently she wanted it all the way down to the great divide. :hurl: So yeah, the schools with these policies may seem extreme, but SOMETHING has to be done to restrain behavior. I really feel badly for school administrators. Talk about a rock and a hard place.
