I think it looks pretty good, especially since it probably isn't something intended to be there forever. I see a lot of Star Tours architectural design references. Not bad.

My rebel spies have reported an interesting twist. I'm told that there is a Security Cast Member posted at one backstage entrance to Star Wars Launch Bay and that there is a notice posted at the other backstage door stating that anyone other than those with Launch Bay badges must sign in with Security.

Well, it seems that there was a picture posted on Twitter of a prop in Launch Bay and it was traced to a Security Cast Member who has since been fired.

Ooops.

A couple more pics of Launch Bay from Mint Crocodile.

With all of the talk about sponsors in TL earlier in the thread, take a look. Launch Bay will be sponsored.

Sponsored by...the Enterprise?

It's actually says Star Wars Launch Bay, Presented by Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

Hewlett Packard has gone through a corporate re-org and split into two smaller companies; it renamed its software and business tech half of the company Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Funny how we were just talking about old Tomorrowland sponsors!

I agree too. This is much better than hanging cheap vinyl signs off of the building like the older and tackier version of Innoventions used to do in that building.

I don't miss Innoventions one bit. There's something to celebrate! The merciful death of Innoventions!

Is that what that rectangle is? I thought it was some unfinished part of the sign that would show the attraction's operating status or wait time. HP has never been the same since Meg Whitman took over.

We're in the home stretch now kids! One week from Season of the Force opening on November 16th and lots of new signage and finishing touches have been applied to Tomorrowland attractions. Pictures from this weekend taken for Dateline Disneyland... http://micechat.com/114549-seasons-change-at-disneyland/

The entrance to Star Wars Launch Bay. This will apparently be a marquee over the entry walkway. The old Innoventions spire is behind it, devoid of any signage now.

Upstairs will be Marvel, or "Super Hero HQ" as this secondary bit of signage says.

Next door at Space Mountain, that attraction has been closed for the past week as they install the new overlay for Season of the Force. The new signage and marquee went up recently.

It will be interesting to see if they can really pull this hyperspace dogfight plotline off, or if it's going to be cheesy and dumb. Space Mountain reopens as Hyperspace Mountain on November 16th.

Right in front of Space Mountain is the new Star Wars theater clip show; "Star Wars Path of the Jedi"

What won't be ready in time for the Season Of The Force opening next week, after it was bumped up by TDA to help soak up Thanksgiving crowds, is the new Jedi Training show at Tomorrowland Terrace. The stage and bandstand are now under heavy refurbishment behind walls and scrims.

But don't complain too loudly about all the refurbishment closures and construction walls up around Tomorrowland, or else these gentlemen will want a word with you.

I find it interesting that the Captain EO theater says Star Wars: Path of the Jedi. Why is it called that? The movie isn't called that. What if the Jedi Training Academy is being moved in there with a new set like Disneyland Paris has with a new name? I understand that this version is suppose to be in line with Star Wars Rebels tv show. It even has a new feature were kids can raise R2-D2. It was reported a while back that kids would have to sign up to be part of the show instead of just being picked. The theater could hold a lot more people and have some cool new stage effects. What if the Tomorrowland Terrace stage is getting a different makeover from JTA? Maybe a cantina band stage thing? This is all my guess based on what I've seen in the Paris show and the weird name change.

There is no what if here. Path of the Jedi is a Star Wars clip show. Abrams and the studio would not allow an extended movie preview for Episode VII, so this lame filler is coming instead.

JTA is staying at the Terrace.

That's too bad. An indoor version with lots of cool lighting would be neat. It would also let Tomorrowland regain a little bit non-star wars when it gets taken over by all this crap. A clip show sounds boring and cheap. Maybe they think they can sell more under cooked hamburgers if the show was outside as it has for a long time now.

Your totally right GiveMeTheMusic. :)

From the DisneyParks Blog:
We also have new information about “Star Wars: Path of the Jedi.” It will feature scenes from the complete Star Wars saga, also giving anyone new to the Star Wars galaxy an opportunity to get acquainted with the films.

Last, but certainly not least, is Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, which will open in early December. This reimagined Jedi Training experience will take younglings to the secret site of an ancient Jedi temple where they will face Darth Vader along with the Seventh Sister – a new villain from the Disney XD series “Star Wars Rebels.”

They get to lift R2D2! How fun is that for the kids! Wish they could bring that stateside.
