Season Of Disney On Travel Channel

Im not sure if this was posted else where, so dont get mad!
Travel CHannel is doing a season of disney, basicly time periods slammed full of the great disney shows. Im not sure how long the "season" lasts, but ive seen marathons of shows probably 3 times this week, And there is a new Samatha Brown (i love her) show, Sam's Favorite Disney, premiering April 11th at 9 ET. The Season of Disney is a monthlong thing the Travel Channel is doing. Each Friday this month, the Travel Channel will air a new Disney special starting next weekend with the new Sam Brown special you just mentioned. I'm looking extremely forward to it!

Here are the dates and the shows:

April 11 at 9 est: Samantha Brown's Favorites
April 18 at 9 est: Disney Splurge
April 25 at 9 est: Disney on a Dime
May 2 at 9 est: Disney Royal Treatment

Thanks so much for posting this. I just searched this morning for any new Disney shoes through my DVR and it missed this since it starts with "Season" rather than "Disney". I will definitely get my DVR ready to record all of these.:sohappy:

I'm especially interested to watch Samantha Brown's new special as I got to watch her film one of the scenes. From the teasers they've been running, it looks like a great line-up.

So, why doesn't Samantha Brown play the background music from the attractions she visits instead of dubbing in some stuff composed in the style, but clearly not the same? She did that with Soarin', Twilight Zone, and Spectromagic, at least.

Surely the rights to the music or royalities aren't that expensive given the thing is a blasted 44 minute Disney commercial!

Great special otherwise. Anything Samantha touches is gold to me (though musically, maybe gold plate).

We watched it. It was very enjoyable. Samantha Brown is always so happy on her shows. I think she does such a good job. I can't wait until nect Friday.

Good show but wished it showed more attractions. Samantha has the best job! Wish i could have a job that I get paid to have fun....

Samantha did a wonderful job! I love her!!! She really does emphasize the "magic" of Disney.

Also not to mention they played my favorite "Can't Sleep, Too Excited" commercial!!!

(although I love any Disney commercial, the one with the couple finding they can go to WDW for $1600 and Cinderella's coach shows up at their house is a little overplayed)

Now lets see if ABC runs the new one tonight

I swear, I've never met anyone who doesn't like Samantha Brown... other than myself. She probably just reminds me of that over-enthusiastic customer service clerk from the grocery store I used to work at...
Still, the show was much appreciated.
