Scuttle's Landing and Ariel's Grotto Now Gone

Went to Magic Kingdom yesterday and noticed some progress in Fantasyland. Scuttle's Landing and Ariel's Grotto are now almost completely gone. Here are some pictures:

With Scuttle's Landing removed, the wall has been pushed back and some tables added to the area:

All that remains of Ariel's Grotto is now covered by a tarp:

Also, the Fantasyland DVC booth has been removed.

Hi. I've been to Disney for 10 years, but my kids never seemed to be too interested in Ariels Grotto, so I didn't pay much attention to it. Can anyone tell me how long Ariels Grotto had been around before it was taken down?:sohappy:

You're probably right. The blueprints show that a DVC booth will be located next to Dumbo, so it would make thematic and financial sense to move the existing booth there.
