i am so very sorry, i haven't been real active lately, well a couple weeks now.

i am still here, but for some strange reason since school started, i find my days really busy, and then i had that painting binge, which i still haven't finished.

today we had to take my granddaughter, the red head, to have another surgery, i think this makes her 7th one now in her 2 1/2 yrs. we only got home a short while ago and had to take a power nap.

disneyfalcon and i and any one else who would like to chime in, are going to come up with a calendar/chart for a this. we are going to come up with challenges ahead of time and then on thursdays we will post the challenged, but they will already be made up ahead of time.
( is this right disney falcon? LOL)

so if anyone would like to have any input into the challenge, please post here, or pm me.

Eagles is right about the challenge calendar. We're going to make a calendar and keep it as a sticky at the top of the forum. The calendar will show the next several weeks challenges. Each Thursday we will start a new thread where you can post your layout for that weeks challenge. If we're late posting the thread, at least then you will know what to work on.

So we have some ideas to fill up the calendar, but we would love more! Whenever you've got an idea for a challenge - post it here! Then we can add it to the calendar.

yes, she is ok. she was born with a port wine stain, that covers 1/2 her face. and she has been going thru laser surgeries to try to lighten it up. sometimes it seems to help and then other times not. but it just looks aweful after surgery. 1/2 her face is swollen, eye swollen shut. all purple. not a pretty site.

I'm sorry to hear about your granddaughter! That's so sad when such little ones need to have surgeries!

I think we have all found ourselves a lot busier since school started! I know I have.

I'd also like to say thanks to all of you for all of your work organizing this thing - it is greatly appreciated!

These challenges have helped get me going on things and also to try some things I'd not done before - like eyelets.

i have never used brads til this challenge. and i did not even use them correctly. LOL

i had to dig deep, but i found my stash of paper, found some of my scissor, and some other stuff for tradional scrapping. so i may give that a go, if i can find any of the sticky stuff to hold it all together. I just hope i have some paper i like. i would just print some off the computer but i can't afford the ink righ now. LOL
