scrapbook challenge JAN 1-10

The new year is almost here, and I want you all to get ready for scrapbooking again!

since it is a new year, i am picking New as the theme.

scrapbook something that is NEW to you. something you did in disney that you haven't done before, a new ride, a new character, a new show. (not that the ride, character or show is new, but that it was new to you). or new to someone that has never been to disney.

if you don't have disney pics, please use those christmas gifts, that new wii that you son just got, or the new car you just got.

i hope you get the idea.

the only other thing i will specify will be to use white. a white frame, white text, patterened paper that has some white in it, snow etc.

have you all thought about where you are going with the challenge?
i have been thinking about it, but haven't figured out where i am going with it yet. at least we have some time to think about it. rofl

Yea, I don't know what I am doing yet, I have been thinking of it, though. Hmm. I just had a thought, but I'll have to see. I'm just excited because I just started scrapping our trip. I haven't gotten to any of the fun disney pictures, yet, but I have done five pages of airport and getting there.

The white background doesn't show up well here.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that page, uponastar! It is beautiful. I think the white brings the castle out so nicely.

Now seeing what others have been doing for the challenge, I think I may have slightly misunderstood it. I guess I thought that we had to have new in the title, so my pages have new in the title. I guess I was trying to make my new experience very obvious. :lol:

Ok, upon looking at the layout again, I reread your beautiful journaling and realized that you have new in there too. So I guess I wasn't that far off.

I have mine finished. This first one was not a page I was planning on doing for this challenge but since it was the next page I was doing I made it fit.

These next two were what I was planning on for the challenge. They didn't turn out quite what I expected, but oh well. In case you are wondering, in the first page that's my hubby, Delainey, and grandpa in the front left. The picture is pretty funny in person. The second page is my hubby, Roderick, Lexie, and myself in the middle left. That's an even funnier one in person.

Thanks. I so rarely use quotes, because I can never think one up. But I bought some paper pack at target that had quote stickers in them so I decided to use them. I guess that's just my thrifty nature. :ROFLOL:

wow, great pages! i love the way that you incorporated the word 'new" into your layout. and it is ok if you used the word 'new' or not. it was how you interpreted the challenge and that is fine.

but i love the way you have your traditional layouts.
