Great page--thanks for clarifying the top text, I was curious. Oh, and welcome to the boards, of course!

Woohoo, I'm so excited! I finally found a minute to at least get this challenge done! :sohappy: Now I just have to work on the next challenge. :o

Oh, it's hard to tell, but the little flowers down the edge of the page are actually brads. My first time working with them. Yay!

Great layout! I love the "GRR" it seems that it both is the ride acronym, and the sound a Grizzly Bear makes! The three overlapping pictures on the second page are great, too. They remind me of the way the rafts (in the pictures) spin as you're on a ride like that--was that intentional?

Also, what are these "brads" you all speak of?

Thanks, Tammy and figment! Actually the overlapping of my three pictures wasn't intentional in that sense. I knew they needed to overlap, and I was planning on putting them in another way, but then when I looked at the page, it just seemed like that was where they should go. But I'll go with it- yes, I was trying to mimic the movement of the rafts.

Brads are little joiner things. Remember in gradeschool when you would have to cut things out and then join them together with a brass tack like looking thing and then fold the two ends of the tack looking thing backwards to hold it? Well, that is a brad, although they make them much prettier for scrapbooking. They can hold things together, or you can just use them for decoration like I did on the sides. I also used one to as an accent for a little sticker that I have at the top of the first page, it fits into the hole like it's a tag.
