Sci-Fi Dine In

I went for lunch last week. My friend and I both got the burgers, which were awesome, and my boyfriend got the bbq chicken sandwich, which he loved. The sundaes, milkshakes and onion rings were great too. Salad and french fries, not so much.
It was our favorite meal of the trip, really just because of the themeing. It was so much fun and we had a couple of great waiters.

I've only had lunch there and loved it both times. Great burgers and loved the shakes, they have shakes for adults there that are great also. GF wants to try somewhere different next trip.

I think they make the best burgers on property.

Once we ate there (must have been considered "dinner" time) and there were no burgers on the menu... we asked our server if we could have one anyway and were told it wasn't a problem....

*LOVE* the burgers there. *drool*

I love the reuben, get it every time, but I guess if you don't like them in the first place, that would be out. :shrug: :lol: And the artichoke dip is good, but I can't turn that down when it's on a menu... ANYWHERE :o :slurp:

We always go for dinner and get burgers. If they're not on the menu, they'll be happy to make them for you. My favorite is the shrimp and pasta dish, with chicken instead of shrimp. It's delicious! It's done in a white wine sauce with cheese and grilled chicken. And the spinach dip appetizer is really good. :slurp:

We love Sci-Fi. It's so much better than the overrated 50's Prime Time Cafe. The BBQ chicken sandwich and fries is so good! And it's different from standard park fare.

The ONE time we went, the lady (jokingly, I know) got after one of my kids for getting crayon on the table, and she spent the rest of the meal with her head hidden in her arms, crying, and then the lady kept calling my husband "Skippy"

So we haven't been back since :shrug:

(Yes, I also prefer Sci Fi, but good grief can it be pricey. We once had a lunch there in which we bought the glow ice cubes and milkshakes that came in cups you take with you, and that lunch of burgers etc was more expensive than the dinner we had that same night at 'Ohana!) :eek: :eek: :eek:

Still, I have zero desire to subject myself to Prime Time and I always eat at Sci Fi when I am at the Studios park. :lol:

I was thinking about making ps for the Sci-Fi, but I have a 2 year old who needs a high chair. How do they accomodate a child in a high chair with the way the tables are set up?
