get the complaints going to guest relations if true, I hope the writer of that article complained to management if they could find any. Disney just thinks they can pull one over on the rubes to save a buck and they wont notice, this is the kind of thing they need to be called out on. Premade in a plastic cup,,,starting to notice the same type of downgrades at Beaches and Cream as well. Pretty soon none of these locations are going to have anything real made on site anymore.

Beaches and Cream is a must eat at for my wife and I. Curious, what downgrades have you noticed there?

Hasn't been really our cup of tea for restaurants to be honest. I usually just have a hot fudge sundae by the pool at Beaches and Cream next to Yacht/Beach for a real treat!

totally off topic...but I was watching Price Is Right and someone had a Mickey shirt on...kind of fun! my friend's father who I went to school with was a producer for Jeopardy...he ended up writing a book about it...I got to see his emmys once...kind of fun...im really good at the prices on Price is Right and the puzzles on Wheel of Fortune...after awhile I guess because of my memory you tend to learn the prices when you watch awhile...oh well off to swim for a bit, take care everyone!

Y’all need to get over yourselves. Kids don’t care how they make milkshakes. They just want something sweet. Eh also understand that Disney is a business and that this is good. They wouldn’t be able to afford to run the restaurant if they had to slowly make each milkshake one at a time. Not to mention the obvious safety issues having so many mixers plugged in.

The quicker the guests can get their food the quicker they can pay their bill and enjoy the rest of the park and keep spending $$. Plus the guests waiting outside in the heat or in the cramped Sci Fi hostess stand can get seated.

Had it a few weeks ago to try it out... it's more of an Ice-cream than a drinkable shake. It's not bad, but also definitely not a shake.

They did improve the fries though, at least the ones we had were pretty fantastic.

At least it’s not like Universal Orlando where Fry Robot in one area makes your fresh hot French fries. Fry Robot even was on social media to show all that robots can replace humans.

This is something that angers me. It doesn’t take long to prepare a milkshake and if they come out badly what’s the point in ordering one. Even my local ice cream stand can bang one out in a minute. I always looked forward to having one of their milkshakes but now they will miss out on my money.
Its probably more about the cost of the goods on hand to prepare them vs a pre-mix.

IDGAF about kids, I want the milkshake for me. This doesn't matter to me because food at Sci-Fi is abysmal, but if it was a place I regularly get milkshakes (Black Tap) I'd be very angry.

Also, this could have been just our batch of burgers about 3 weeks ago, but it appears that they are using a burger patty with more soy than prior supply. My girlfriend doesn't respond well to soy, and I guess the % of soy content on the burger was higher than other burgers. We ate there a few weeks before as well and she was fine.

The minute or so that it takes to make a shake vs grabbing one from a cooler pre made can't make any difference in timing of dining there. My local ice cream shop bangs them out in no time ( my wait to get one is never more that 2 minutes at most and that's getting other ice creams for family members) )and they are rich, thick and very tasty as a shake should be.

Im not buying the cost is very different in making a shake vs pre made. Pennies if that. Its going to cost Dis in guests not dining there more than what they may be making up on pre made shakes that lack in taste.
