Scammers in the parks

A couple of trips ago we were sitting on a curb right at the tape, waiting for the parade and a family of five ducked under the string and plopped down right in front of us, on the street. I told the lady she could not sit there as it was too close and she rudely snapped that it was none of my effing business where she sits.
Just a few minutes later, CMs came and made them move. As they were getting up, I waved and said, "Still none of my business where you sit." She just gave me a one finger wave goodbye. I love entitled people.

Been there. The family that did that to us tried pushing back into us to force us to scoot back. Um, no. We were there first. I just put the toes of my shoes into the woman's lower back and did not budge. She shoved back and it dug into her. She flipped out and started cussing. The CM finally made her move. ;)

Ok, Honest question.. because I don't want to become one of the people that this thread is about.

My family really wants to try the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream. There is 6 people in our party but I can only get a table for 4 during our trip. How horrible is it if we show up with two extra people? We are only ordering 1 thing and since we're all little people we could all fit in a booth together. is it bad? Or what if four stay and eat inside while 2 get "to go bowls" and eat outside?

That is not as bad since it is a booth that your're taking up. If it were an ADR at a table that could have gone to a true family of 4 then that is different.

THE only scam we use at wdw is the child swap. It gives you 2 passes when really only 1 needs the pass. So we normally have 2-3 child swap passes per ride bc that's how many moms we have with us most trips staying back with the kids. But really that allows an additional person to ride that ride again too. Not sure if we're scamming or just taking advantage of the system.

One time while exploring the World Of Disney store, we noticed a woman acting suspicious while waiting in the checkout line. It was just the way she glanced around the room at people, and didn't make any prolonged eye contact. I could tell she was getting more & more nervous as she got closer to the checkout counter. I'm not sure if she had any other family members who were shopping in the store while she was in line, or if she simply came into the store by herself. But regardless, something just didn't add up with her.
She finally makes it to the front of the line & the checkout counter. As the cashier is collecting her payment and bagging her merchandise, I notice the woman slyly reach over to the brochure display which has the various theme park maps. She grabs not one, but TWO maps for DHS, and places them both in her bag right in front of the cashier's view! The cashier didn't say anything to her. I wanted to raise a fuss, but ended up just giving her a dirty look as she exited the store with her excessive amount of mappage.
They dont have park maps on the counters at World of Disney
I'm sure they had to remove them after the incident @TLtron witnessed... This is why we can't have nice things.

A few years ago I was at MK with my daughter and girlfriend. We wanted to get good seats for the Halloween parade and since it was our last day and we had already seen/done everything we wanted to we sat down on the crub right in front of the castle about 2 1/2 hours before the show. There was only one other person there an elderly gentleman in a scooter. We had a nice conversation with him while waiting for the show. He came all the time, his daughter worked for Disney. Anyway about 20 min before things got started this Hispanic family decided they would push their way in front of and literally on top of us. The mom kept saying she no speak English and looking like she didn't have a clue. then the nice old gentleman we had been talking to says " You know damn well what they are saying now get your back behind everyone else and stop trying to push in." And after giving him a dirty look they did just that. You got to love elderly people :).

During the parade there was a small girl behind us, whose parents respectfully tried to make sure they and their child didn't push their way the front, so we made room so the young girl could have a curb side seat.

We've had several people try to move up a few spots after going around the corner on a switch back. Almost all of them have had the "I don't speak English" excuse ready to go if any looks were thrown their way. If I ever notice this happening I just spread out and take up a bunch of room in my spot in line... even if this means almost getting pushed over by the sneaks!

I refuse to let anyone past me either. If they are going to do it then they need to jump the railing, push past others, and then cut back in up past me. It is not my fault that half of a person's party cannot stay with the rest or that the first half will not wait for the second half. Most of the time I get a few cuss words thrown at me and that group tries to stop right behind us and stay in line there. That is usually met with most people behind us flipping out at the line cutters until they are moved to the rear by CM's.

For those of you faced with groups of 3-60 people who claim or seem to speak no english only spanish, and try to get past to go join their party at the front of the line, I offer the following statement:

"No, one of you go ahead and bring your family back here"

Google translated to...

"nadie de ustedes adelante y traer a su familia aquí"

Then, they can all be together again waiting for the attraction as one big happy family and all ride together.

I watched a CM get rather un-Disney like once. It was funny. Two asian women attempted to just walk right past everyone of us in line outside of PotC as they stepped over the black chains. People kept telling them to stop but they kept going while speaking Chinese (I think. I know it wasn't Japanese.) and ignoring most of the protests. A CM waited for them to get all the way through and then he stopped them, told them they had to go back, and when they acted like they couldn't understand him and tried to push past he stopped them again and used hand language to get them to follow him all the way to the end of the line. He was actually being a bit condescending, but we all thought it was very funny. When he walked away from them they walked away deciding to not ride after all. Someone from the back of the line yelled "Yeah! We knew you speak English!" I guess they dropped the act when the CM walked away.

The people who peeve me the most at Disneyworld though are the people that get to the bus stop as soon as the bus is getting there and see the huge crowd that has been waiting all along and they just march right on to the bus and sit down before letting the people who had actually waited get on first. I ALWAYS look for the people who get to the bus stop before me and make sure that I don't board before them because in my mind that is skipping just as much as skipping in line for a ride.
I am the same way, it is the small things like this that build up and make me mad
