From what I understand, AC had to go through a predemolition inspection (to make sure all Gas, Electric, and Water lines were clear).. and that also includes unprecluded access to all doors,windows, and crawlspaces..


This is the reason the windows are now visible.... sadly, it's letting the windows get a peek before demo.

The Readers Digest version is that Disney wanted out of the night club business. They concluded that they could close Pleasure Island and lease it out to third parties.
